Dallas just allowed 48 points at home in the playoffs against a seed that has never won a playoff game on the road, and the youngest team in football. This is the worst loss in Cowboys history, and anyone making excuses for Dak or McCarthy needs their heads checked.

McCarthy was never a good hire from the beginning and he’s to blame to some extent. So is Quinn. However, I think LaFleur and the Packers have to be given more credit. They’ve built a pretty good team, with a very good run game, and LaFleur has been making things really easy for Love, who has to work with a super young receiving core. Not to mention they also have several first round picks on Defense.

He’s also constantly called very questionable plays in the biggest moments. He’s a good in season coach but is terrible in the playoffs. The Cowboys don’t need him to give them good seasons, they need him to win them a Super Bowl.

What I did say, was he wasn't making the playoffs, in the end.
His last two seasons with the packers were 7 - 9 and 4-7. He got fired after two seasons of NOT making it to the playoffs at all.

The Bills legitimately did whatever they wanted to the Cowboys, I’m assuming Matt LaFleur decided to do the same thing lol. This team desperately needs a really good DT and LB that can shed blocks and stop the run, something they clearly do not have. Average offensive lines push them around, let alone really good ones.

Smh..🤔 When you have as much talent as Dallas has, and everyone underperforms in the biggest moment...you're gonna fire the coach before you move away from the talent. It's clearly a psychological issue for Dallas in pressure moments...that's the coach's sphere of influence. While i don't honestly think that Belichick is the answer, i 100% agree that you have to try him out. You have an owner who's desperate to salvage his legacy and a coach who's desperate to do the same; that means that both should have maximum motivation to put ego aside and be flexible to do whatever needs to be done. And since, like many, i believe that Jerry's strong media presence is a big negative factor in creating unnecessary pressure and distraction for his team, Belichick might be one of the only people respected enough to persuade Jerry to try sitting down, shutting tf up, and staying behind the scenes (like Kraft did) for at least a year .

The Dallas Cowboys haven’t had a coach since Jimmy Johnson! Their players are expected to just go out there and out play the other team off talent. You cannot name the last time you saw the cowboys play and saw a scheme or game plan surprise someone. Quinn plays the same D every time so he’s easy to scheme against, and the offense has 0… 0 adjustments. Dak was lost out there and the coaches gave him 0 help.
Facts! Dan showed his A all year and GB took notes. When Dak was clearly nervous starting the game. Mccarthy should have gotten in his face and woke his A up. The whole game was embarrassing.
Coaching was a problem, but Daks decision making showed he is, AGAIN, incapable of performing in big games. Y'all keep finding ways to defend Dak, and it is beyond me why....

The Packers had a ton of talent during McCarthy's coaching years in Green Bay. It was the same as what Dallas is going through. I just don't get why so many people can't wrap their heads around that. Green Bay moved on from him for a reason.

It is silly to blame the coach. No coach has won with Dak. Dak is the 1 constant in all these losses. He chokes and turns it over. The defense needs new personal they are too slow for these new offenses.
Need to let Micah Play LB, he was so dominant his rookie year bc he could be used anywhere and they had a good supporting cast around them. They have steadily gotten worse since.
The argument that Dak needs more help is astounding considering he has one of the best O-Lines in the league, and exceptionally talented skill position players around him. Yes he threw for 400 and 3 TDs, but over half of that came after he spotted GB 27 points.

Context matters, but my comment is directly relating to the fact that Foxworth is claiming Dak needs more help. Help with what? He has dogs (which you agree with) but they haven't been performing. Yes, play calling and coaching has an effect, but you know what doesn't help? Low efficiency play from the QB. And Dak didn't start playing effectively until the score was 48-16. By then he had thrown 2 INTs, one of them a pick-6 (a horrible call on his part) and had put the game almost effectively out of reach.
That's on Dak.
I don't get some of you fans out there who will in one breath clamor for someone based purely on their stats (Dak lead the league in exactly 1 major category, TD passes) and say "That's my MVP," and completely discount context. And for you "eye test" people, did Dak REALLY look like "Him" (or whatever nonsense) for the majority of the game?
No. He did not.
Coaches install the systems for their players, provide them the framework to execute, and help make the larger scale executive decisions during the game. Play calling and executive decisions largely had no effect on the outcome provided the situation.
Players have to execute the gameplan and make the moment-to-moment decisions in the heat of competition. Overall ability and capability help to influence that and regardless of the system, players still need to execute to their potential. They did not. Dak included.
And since I know you'll probably not even read this, I wish you well. Enjoy the game, because thats what it is and we're all fans. Just because I'm not crushing hours and hours of all-22 tape doesnt mean I can't see whats happening when it happens.

Stay faithful to the Cowboys! Keep Dak. He's an elite MVP (during the regular season and garbage time). Keep McCarthy too (He didn't screw up clock management this game so that's great!). Most points scored (during the regular season)! Top 5 defense (during the regular season).
Keep everything the same and you'll get to the Super Bowl next year.

Did the Cowboys go back and review the Cowboys/49Niners game? It was like dejavue. The Cowboys couldn't cover the Green Bay recievers and the Cowboys' receivers could not get open early in the game....and when Dak threw his second interception it was clear that he had intended on throwing to Lamb before the play insued....and he had another reciever however, that was open. You can bet Green Bay studied that film again and again so they could figure out how to win. The Cowboys coach should have been changing pass patterns and it looks like defending recievers by primariy a one on one defense......perhaps they were too afraid of the run attack. I don't care that McCarthy has won one Super Bowl.....but like the Tuna, he doesn't know how to prepare a team for a playoff game when being in one's own stadium should have been a powerful boost and incentive to win. There is no excuse for failed hard work and preparation. Pathetic.....

No Emory, you need call a "Spade a Spade". The Cowboys were cheating somehow when they were at home. Look how dominate their defensive is at home and look how much turnovers they get, but when there on the road their defensive is average and all sudden they don't get even half has as much turnovers. The Green Bay Packers suspected something was up and changed their offensive play calls. This totally tripped up the Dallas defensive.
As incredibly terrible as the Defense played yesterday, I couldn't help but think that Dan Quinn mailed it in early so he could get his name in the coaching search ahead of the other coaches that are being considered. Belichick and Harbaugh got a head start in him so hes gotta get going!
