I am a 19 year old girl from New Jersey. I grew up in the church as my dad was a pastor. This past year I have never strayed farther from God. Was on a bunch of drugs, doing my own thing, while in the car with a friend of mine who is an atheist and this song started playing on his phone. He’s didn’t even know what the song was but I immediately started crying. I’m positive this was a sign from God that it’s time to come back. Thank you Jesus for new beginnings. ❤

I had strayed from the Lord & was don't things that weren't godly. One day I went to a Bible study. The leader was praying for people. Then the Holy Spirit came into the room. I stayed crying & couldn't stop. When I went home I returned to the Lord. I know it was Him calling me back. Thank You Jesus
On this day (4:15) 6 years ago I lost my first love/children's fathers. I remember waking up everyday for about a year and a half reliving the night of his murder. Hearing birds chirp used to be a trigger because I remember hearing them right before hearing the news share the events of his death.
My children and I went into a tornado of problems for months after he passed away. I thought we would never recovery but God made a promise to me that we would not only recover but He would never allow our lives to be flooded with troubles again.
God made me forgive the men responsible for his death and pray for them as if they were me. Later I found out that the forgiveness that I gave them would be a gift to me. (IF YOU ARE READING THIS, FORGIVE THEM AND FORGIVE YOURSELF)
I was told by the enemy so many times that we would never be happy again, and we would not survive without him(my children father) but let me tell you.. my Father God told me that He is a restorer of life "Ruth 4:15"..and He has not broke a promise yet and He never will!
I want to encourage someone today that no matter what you have been through you still deserve and can have peace, love, joy, happiness, and so much more. Give God a chance to show up in your life!
Me and My babies had to go through a storm but it worked for our good Romans 8:28! Do not allow the enemy to make you believe that anything that you're going through will ruin you forever, the devil is a liar! As long as you have breath, there is a purpose waiting for you to fulfill!
And the last and most important thing I will tell you is to GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST!

Every time, I listen to Maverick City I visualize every lyric how it would take place in reality. This song makes me see how they led Jesus on Palm Sunday and how he was later crucified. Crucified for someone like me 🙌Lord when I lost every single thing at 10 years old, I mean every everything! parents, house! Everything! I had to start life with a crate full of clothes on my own. Lord I didn't know where to go or how I was going to do it, 18 years later you have carried me through every unthinkable trauma.
When they said Jesus "your are the author of my story". When I should I have died and lost my mind. When psychologist told me they couldn't understand why and how I didn't get a mental breakdown. Lord I knew it was you carrying me. It was you when depression and suicide should have taken me out. Lord thank you for the cross because my redemption has been blood bought. Hallelujah

Exactly a week ago I tried to commit suicide and God said “ I’m not done with you yet” I was in the hospital for 2 days and later sent to a mental hospital for 2 more days where all they wanted to do was drug me with psych medication and I refused! My God is stronger than any, anxiety, depression, medication! I thought I was falling apart and wanted to end everything, All along all I really needed was God. Even though it’s hard still I’m holding onto God Promises! Because he loved me when I couldn’t love my self! He gave me a second chance*
