The heavy effects and EDM style poses are purely crowd pleasing for this particular scenario. He's obviously been shafted with a daytime set & a crowd that are watching closely as apposed to his night/early morning dark nightclub fans that are to busy raving. He's done well here
DOOOOOOPE SET ! This is what the stages need more of... Back when EDC was in LA around 2007/8/9 the deep house stage was always lit; Mark Farina, Dj Heather, Roger Sanchez, Martinez Bros...so many, and nothing but jackin, funky deep house. This mix is a breath of fresh air for surrrrre , in a sea of bunk house sets
this is a solid great fucken mix, track selection is on point. effects help maintain the energy of the mix. meaning they were used in drops to help the build up☝. great climax during the mix as well. well build this guy is so underrated his mix for slam's the boom boom is a master piece as well.
Frankie from start to finish SLAMMIN all the way. Had me really going for it throwing shapes all about the lounge. Loved all the samples in all the right places. Your a credit to the house genre and above all you looked like you really enjoyed it with relaxed confidence. Loved all the samples and not a beat out of place. Well impressed . Thanks for one hour and fourteen minutesof pure pleasure. Well done brother! much love..
Best new find I've made in ages. His style of energetic banging tunes is refreshing and far better than the usual main stream dross pushed out. Well done that man.
funny all the posters critiqueing, saying he is using too much effects. this guy does a decent job spinning but is an amazing producer/remixer. kept it somewhat familiar and commercial for the whole set, but still kills.
I get what people are saying about delay fx. you can't fault him- situation/venue dictates. this is what happens when you play this style of house, meant for low-lit nightclubs, as a stage performance. you are forced to do more because everyone is looking at you instead of dancing...
good points, id like to see him play in a berlin underground club, this is what i realised about what you said about [thats what happens when you play this style of house] well its the kind of house i like, and only recently have i realised that the situation and mixing is so important if you want to get this repetitive, deep tech sound to work, but when it does, boy is it worth it. peace
I tend to use the FXs on the mixer a little too much sometimes especially in front of a bigger crowd where the energy level goes up a notch. Sometimes less is more. My "rule of thumb" is to try and use them sparingly (maybe every 2-3 tracks) instead of every break in every song. I know it's tempting to play with all the features on the new equipment out there.
GOSH ALL THE BITCHY COMMENTS..... Music style is like art, everyone has their own style and opinion and not anyone answer is right or wrong, the world would be a boring place if we all did the and liked the same thing. If it's not for you then no need to rip it to bits. music brings like minded people together so just stick to what suits you ;-) peace and love and all that...... Let's dance till we can't dance any more xxx
the last song- "another chance" - roger sanchez, sounds like either a layered edit or, a white label crowd tester that hasn't been fully mastered yet. the parts are not well seated. but I hope it comes out cause I am feeling it.
Love the set. And I am a fan of DJ's using effects, but he's using the same one a wee bit too much for my liking. Regardless, I'd still be grooving if I was there. Props to him for rocking the party.
Yes agree - needs to mix them up a bit - it's the same sound again and again - i actually found it quite frustrating and unnecessary after a while. Tune selection is fun for a festival party though. I'm sure people will disagree with me on the FX but it's all just personal taste.
one of the best sets i ever hear from rizardo, awesome music

This guy has skills! He handles that mixer so well. Sick set too!
The heavy effects and EDM style poses are purely crowd pleasing for this particular scenario. He's obviously been shafted with a daytime set & a crowd that are watching closely as apposed to his night/early morning dark nightclub fans that are to busy raving. He's done well here
It’s garbage:
all the effects are brutally spot on!

the set is killinggg ! Love you!!
What I like about this sound is that people actually dance to it rather than just fistbump with their phones the whole time.
