Hi Stephanie, I trust you are all well. I have a Silhouette and you may remember me asking you for help to do fussy cuts etc. with it. I did manage to get it right and I offered someone, who commented on this video, my help wrt cutting on a Silhouette. I have made a little video, very amateur ☺️, but just wanted your permission to share it in the comments section with them. Would this be possible? I could send you the video to view and approve first. Kindly advise. Lizellexx
Thank you so much for doing this video. I don't use my cricut near enough because it still intimidates me. So many of the videos are overwhelming too. This one is great!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I have a hand issue that doesn’t allow me to trim or cut with scissors easily and I have this lovely new cricket that I haven’t used yet. I didn’t understand the print and cut process. You were very clear in your instruction and I know that it’s going to help me a great deal once again thank you and I can’t wait to shop your lovely kits.
Thank you, Stephanie! I've always wanted to try this feature instead of using scissors to fussy cut images. It would save my poor hands alot of achiness! You do such a good job explaining this! 😊💗
Fantastic video, straight to the point, no waffling on about pointless nothings. I really need to try this. My Cricut is so under used, but if I can do this, it will be a busy little Cricut. THANK YOU so much for posting 😊
One thing I really appreciate on your video is that you circled around the options instead of just pointing at them because on that small of a screen on a phone is nearly impossible to see what people are pointing at, and your circling the option really helped
I hate fussy cutting so was beyond thrilled when I figured out a couple of years ago how to use my Cricut Maker to fussy cut for me! This is a great straight forward tutorial of the process!
This will save my eyes from crossing during fussy cutting. You are a eye/finger saver! finally a use for that cricut I bought years ago that I had to have and I've used maybe 5 times . Thank you!
Thanks so much for this tutorial, Stephanie; I’m petrified to use my Cricut to cut images out. You’ve made it look easier than I thought it would be. Now to try it out myself!
Thank you so much for this tutorial Stephanie! I just got my first cricut today. I have wanted one since they first came out but held off. Now that I make junk journals, I definitely need it. I got a cricut Explore air 2 like yours. It was a breeze to use thanks to your amazing video. 💜
Thank you so much for this timely tutorial. I love small ephemera but I struggle with how long it takes me to cut out even a sheet when fussy cutting by hand. I was able to shrink a couple of the pages down from one of the fussy cut add-ons and cut with my Cricut to use them on clusters and snippet rolls. And thank you for thinking ahead and formatting your image files to make it easier to both fussy cut and machine cut. You've taken the stressful guesswork out of fussy cuts.
Thank you so much for this tutorial Stephanie. I have a Cricut Air 2 ..... but of late it has sat on the shelf gathering dust. I REALLY should utilise it for this task..... even though I do love fussy cutting by hand.
Thank you so much Stephanie for your very clear instructions. I have a lot of fussycuts I’ve bought in the last 4 months from you and am currently following your instructions. I have never had the know how and confidence to try before. Many many thanks. Debs. 😊
Ok so I’m doing it and it’s working but by adding the print guide lines , it reduces the size of the images. I’m using the app on iPad and have not found a way to resize it. Is there any go around?
Thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial. My daughter gave me the Explore Air 2 when it first came out, but I just can’t get the hang of that machine. I’m trying it again today following your tutorial on fussy cutting. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I have been wanting to purchase something to do my fussy cutting. Is it easy to understand. I heard the scan and cut has a big learning curve. Is the cricut easy to catch onto. My hands are so tired! lol you make it look so easy. A big purchase and I want to be sure. Thank you so so much!!!
Thanks for your tutorial! I have a lot of your sets. Have you done a tutorial on getting your PDFs into jpgs for the Cricut? I have a hard time cutting, since my hands hurt .
We never had to adjust the transition with your cuts because you made the part around the sticker a little darker. I wish you would go back to that so it is a quicker. Some friends are having the same issues as I am with jagged edges and sometime the other button doest fix the situation.
I have the cricut maker and I got it to help the fussy cutting. I have noticed that the image through the cricut is smaller that the jpeg image is when it is printed without the cricut. Is there a way to get the same size? I think the sensor marks on the cricut makes the images smaller. Your video has been so helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the tutorial! I’m having trouble sizing it down to the exact correct size. I know to keep the sizing locked when adjusting but I can’t get it to be exact as the original file when cutting on my Maker. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
This is an awesome idea that I have never thought of before, so I did everything according to the video but when I click make it in cricut design space , I get a message in red that says project preview could not load and to contact a care member. It also said that this project is currently private. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Hi, I have a Silhouette 3 and use the Designer Edition software. I eventually figured out how to print & cut my fussy cuts when they are in .png/.jpg format. If you’d like I could try and send you screenshots of how I do it.
@@lizellerossouw378 wow! That would be amazing! I have somehow managed to lose my designer addition over the years and now I just have a basic addition, but I’m sure I can figure it out. Thank you so much I have tried this so many different ways and can’t make it happen.
Do you mean it erases part of the image along with the background? It could be you need to adjust your "color tolerance" as shown in the video. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact Cricut for support. Best luck!
So I uploaded the mini snippets and there are two Christmas trees in the upper right corner that the cricut is only reading half of each tree and I did change the color bar and that did not help.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! You do make it look awfully easy!!!😊 now I have a question?! When we purchase a kit from you what form is it in? PDF or JPEG or both? and what do you need to cut on the cricut? Can you cut both a PDF and JPEG or do you have to have a certain format? Thanks again for the tutorial!!!
Hello! Design Space will not accept PDF files. Our fussy cuts should all include JPEG files. Also, there are converters online. You can google "PDF to JPEG converter". We've also listed some in the video description.
@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 oh, that is awesome!!! I think I’ll try some cutting tonight with my cricut!!! I have purchased quite a few of your kits!!!☺️❤️
Stephanie, this is a great tutorial, thanks so much! I'm curious...is there a way to print/cut multiples of one particular image without having to print "all" of the other images? In other words, can I separate the images or just use one image from the entire sheet? Or maybe could I separate just the 4 or 5 that I want to use so I don't have to use them all? Does that make sense? I'm new to circuits and printables. Thanks!
Hi! When you're erasing your white background in Design Space, at the top of that page is an option to "crop" the image (above the words "Background Remover"). You can crop just to the image that you want to print. And then when you add it to your canvas, you can select and copy it (CTRL + C) and then paste it (CTRL + V) as many times as you want. You can also resize it.
Hi! It doesn't show it, but I use the "browse" option to go find the file. You can also just drag and drop the image from your computer desktop or wherever you have the file saved. ua-cam.com/video/gT-NcSee9M8/v-deo.htmlsi=U1jPFqAkTXAK8qMH&t=59
