1. That was kidnapping, there is no way at all you could possibly convince a jury that there was murderous intent beyond reasonable doubt.
2. If it was attempted murder as you say, it would attract a sentence of probably at minimum 20 or so years I would think, and a crime as callous as this would be closer to life. For a kidnapping, I would think about 15-20 years depending on whether cam suffers any injuries.
3. I doubt the NRL tribunal would bother suspending him, given he has been delisted for ages. That is also assuming there is even any grounds for the NRL tribunal to adjudicate on this: I am unsure what their actual jurisdiction is but I think with a high degree of certainty it would not include actual criminal matters. And again, why would they bother suspending him, when if he is imprisoned no club will touch him anyways?
