Question: I teach in a charter school and I was going to sprinkle blesses salt around the school and my classroom.
After listening to this, I’m thinking I cannot do that because I might not have authority over the building. If that’s the case, which steps should I take to consecrate the building to Mary?

Me too. I had an attack on me last weekend. I have lost the vision of my left eye. I knew I had the courage to stand up to 6 mean people. Nothingness. Futile. God saved me from killing these people on the river. And I thank God for letting me take the pain and lose of eye . God is my great king. Please pray for me to finally find the peace of Jesus Christ. I found saint Charbel from this incident.

This breaks my heart. I’m in my 50s and am a cradle Catholic and I remember the beauty of our church, the vocations, the traditions, I remember visiting in the convents with my parents, the respect that we had. My brother was a priest who left the order after Vatican ll as did our first cousin who was a caramelite nun. I recently spoke with my brother because I was a child when this happened but as an adult and now as a parent of four young adults who are also cradle Catholics I needed to know, he said Vatican II was the worst thing that could’ve happened to the church. I believe as a parent and as a Catholic that after Vatican II everything went downhill. And it breaks my heart because as a parent of young adults to see what is going on in our society and especially in our church breaks my heart and scares me.

I don't know what their response would be, but I agree that V2 or rather, those behind V2 & their intensions, was the "smoke of Satan" of which Pope Leo XIII spoke of. I believe your brother believed he was doing the right thing. I pray that he is still a priest, even if he left his order. I think a HUGE number of vocations were lost because of V2. I was the product of V2 theology & boy was my life messed up! THANK GOD for Fr. Rippergers & others who are leading to the right path! Now if only I could convince others... 🙄

Same in my 50's During 4 years spent at Catholic Univ in midwest, I hung out with lots of Post Vatican 2 vowed religious / campus ministry lay leaders: Some of the most relativistic, immoral, amoral people I've ever met.
But as a kid went to RC Elementary, educated by Sisters of St Joseph -- grew up in a super reverent parish with an old Irish Msgr Rev Fr Sweeney (who was loathe to bring changes to the church - he held out until 1971)...

It is rooted in the church siding with the allies and j wish worldly interests. Until you realize that your multiracialism and belief in race mixing being ok is itself a giant gateway to all the other stuff you don't like: lgbt, sodomy legalized, abortion etc. you will never actually understand the degradation of morality in the west.
If you cede that biology must be viewed in an egalitarian light, then there's no logical reason why this can't be applied to metaphysical categories as well, since we posit a composite being for man. Therefore when you conclude in a false way about things like race, homogeneity being good etc. you will necessarily fall into traps of concluding falsely about other things. St. Thomas wrote that when one engages in a lack of prudence this compounds over time, meaning you start to make more and more errors. And this is precisely what happened in the west following ww2. The j wish run slave societies like the USA, soviet union rejected the core racialism of the Third Reich, and so over time because this was an error it led to lgbt, abortion, sodomy being allowed etc.
To further justify my point, observe when precisely the catholic church started losing most of its laity and started imploding. It was in the mid 60s, when vatican 2 and the spirit of globalism, multiracialism was promoted through the church leadership. This is also the turning point for mass migration into the USA (hart celler act) and consequently we see the race riots and all kinds of problems which result both socially and economically.
Therefore in conclusion the nazis were right and the catholics who did not side with the nazis were wrong, and they fell for the lies of j ws (who traditionally have hated the church and wished to destroy it) and are now being slowly eaten and chipped away by the very j ws and their governments which you side with. A knife in the back.

@@Thestuffonmainstreet abortion is murder... abortion is intrinsically wrong.
In nature, no mother, would do deliberate harm to her child. - "It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish."
Abortion is so gross, everything else pales in comparison to killing a baby in the mothers womb, abortion has opened up a Pandora's Box that cannot be closed, it has made numb a society to easily accept others nasty things, to being legalized, that decades ago would have been unthinkable and grossly immoral.
Without moral restraint, what will the society accept in the future, polygamy, pedophilia, child marriage, euthanasia (death pods), etc. ?
The family and in turn the society will suffer...

Once again, Father is right over the target. The decline in sexual morals began in earnest with the greatest generation. The decline was almost directly caused by Hellywood. While the Legion of Decency excelled at keeping dress modest and language from being vulgar, it utterly failed at a deeper philosophical and theological level while, meanwhile, the bishops were asleep. The Greatest Generation grew up with the perception that romance was the greatest thing in life, and the married state a recreational activity. This was the foundation for everything that followed. On the one hand, disillusionment led to separation and divorce, and, on the other, more and more extremes of voyeurism, leading to the degeneracy seen today. Concurrently came the rise of contraception, and, in its wake, abortion.

Fr Ripperger, starting from the top down of Pope Francis on moral theology, one can be obedient to evil by out-occulting it from outside when all think one is inside on the reference point of Christ, through his both advice in thinking reason and example of having faith (cf. Aquinas).
This is what I did from 1991 when thought by all to be roman catholic when in fact acting in a role as an anglo-catholic. I then in my role as an anglo-catholic accredited catechist of roman catholic religion on 24 January 1995 obeyed my thought to be roman catholic Vatican Laity Council superior, Pope St John Paul 11's Council for the Laity Vice President, Bishop Paul Cordes', written direction of me, dated through my thought to be Brisbane, Australia roman catholic Kenmore Catholic Community parish, dated 28 September 1994: "... to sustain what you consider to be your rights.", which "rights" were of all laity to:
    (a) "... make the family aware of its identity ... and its role...";
    (b) "In such a way, the family can and must require from all ... the respect for those rights which in saving the family, will save society itself." (Pope St John Paul 11's exhortation, CL, 1988, 40).
This obedience created, through my both advice and example, a reference point for Pope Francis of on or just after 10 June 2021 his exercise of an absolute power of authorisation that Pope Francis by associating together with me in putting into action an educational project in sexuality and true love then applied.
This application by pope Francis was through Pope Francis' Vatican state Secretariat of state in the cases of:
    1. Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine others of their alleged embezzlement of ensuring thinking in reason procreation gift charity donations within the family (presently been heard in Pope Francis' Vatican state court);
    2. a risk of fraud on insuring having faith union need of identities of family members of valid and proper marriages by passing of the "Zan" anti-homophobia bill before the Italian Parliament (defeated in early November 2021 after a protest note against it in late June/early July 2021from Pope Francis' Secretariat of state to the Italian government).

O adorable and Divine Will, here we are, before the immensity of Your Light, that Your eternal Goodness may open to us the doors, and make us enter into It, to form our lives all in You, Divine Will.
Therefore, prostrate before Your Light, we, the littlest among all creatures, come, O adorable Will, into the little group of the first children of Your Supreme Fiat. Prostrate in our nothingness, we beseech and implore Your endless Light, that It may want to invest us and eclipse everything that does not belong to You, in such a way that we may do nothing other than look, comprehend and live in You, Divine Will.
It will be our lives, the center of our intelligence, the enrapturer of our hearts and of our whole beings. In this heart the human will will no longer have life; we will banish it forever, and will form the new Eden of peace, of happiness and of love. With It we shall always be happy, we shall have a unique strength, and a sanctity that sanctifies everything and brings everything to God.
Here prostrate, we invoke the help of the Sacrosanct Trinity, that They admit us to live in the cloister of the Divine Will, so as to restore in us the original order of Creation, just as the creature was created.
Celestial Mother, Sovereign Queen of the Divine Fiat, take us by the hand and enclose us in the Light of the Divine Will. You will be our guide, our tender Mother; You will guard your children, and will teach us to live and to maintain ourselves in the order and in the bounds of the Divine Will. Celestial Sovereign, to Your Heart we entrust our whole beings; we will be the tiny little children of the Divine Will. You will teach us the Divine Will, and we will be attentive in listening to You. You will lay your blue mantle over us, so that the infernal serpent may not dare to penetrate into this Sacred Eden to entice us and make us fall into the maze of the human will.
Heart of our highest Good, Jesus, You will give us Your flames, that they may burn us, consume us and nourish us, to form in us the life of the Supreme Will.
Saint Joseph, You will be our Protector, the Custodian of our hearts, and will keep the keys of our will in Your hands. You will keep our hearts jealously, and will never give it to us again, that we may be sure never to go out of the Will of God.
Guardian Angel, guard us, defend us, help us in everything, so that our Eden may grow flourishing, and be the call of the whole world into the Will of God.
Celestial Court, come to our help, and we promise You to live always in the Divine Will. Amen.

In terms of a morally good act is deceiving the Nazis when they were engaging in a morally bad act such as rounding up Jews a question of justice or giving what is due? Do I not have a duty to show positive justice to the oppressed and negative justice to the oppressor? The Nazi does not have the moral right to persecute Jews and is therefore rightly deceived or has information kept from them? Some informed comments invited here.

I like what you're saying. If we have the right to self defense from mortal or just highly injurious unjust attack do we not have a duty to defend those under such attack from those hell bent on their destruction? If I harbored Jews and the Nazis came for them I wouldn't hesitate lying to them or disposing of them by whatever means necessary including fraud, including shooting them dead, Having developed and defensible moral positions is of the utmost importance, but sometimes people can get lost in minutiae and abstractions and lose all sense of moral proportion. A lie, an act of fraud, vs dead innocents, dead babies. Guys like this it seems, ensconced in their citadels, have had little contact, even imaginative, with real, murderous evil.

The real beauty of Scripture - at least for Modernists - is that it can be made to 'say' (mean, intend, suggest) almost anything that the person using it wants. And the actual horribleness of Liguori (etc) is that he can't* - whether one is a devotee of Modernism or Sacred Tradition (aka unfaithful or faithful to what the Church has held to be and holds to be Moral Reason, expressed in Moral Theology). One can see this at work, via the abundant confusion of what seems (for me, if no one else) to be diabolic disorientation, in many of the official local responses to the Synodal Path process towards the Synod On Synodality.
What would I know ..? I struggle to keep up with let alone understand the inundation of social protocol e-mails at work .. but then they are not meant to be understood, only obeyed (without question).
Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, and let the demons shriek.
    God bless. ;o)
    * Unless, of course, we mutilate his work - or confine it to one sentence in a scholarly tome.

I did see you had entered a reply to a Carolyn Kimberly who made a comment about IVF. Maybe your comment is there rather than here? Or does he mean that the soul is ‘infused’ at the moment conception (today we’d say when the egg and sperm meet) in the mother’s womb, as I believe is what we as Catholics believe, right? He spends little time refuting it as St Liguori thought it was so obviously not true. This of course is him just agreeing with St Thomas Aquinas’s and St Augustine’s teaching. Of who both also believed ensoulment occurred not until quickening or around three months after conception. Likewise they detail how despite the fetus being human it couldn’t be said to have a soul and the time of ensoulment couldn’t be determined by philosophy.

What is meant by a manual? Say, moral theology in 50 or 100 pages with summarizing short assertion. Mercier or Coffey or even Sheen published "manuals " of 4 or 5 hundred pages. Cardinal Mercier was voluminous in his many volumes. The Latin texts that I had on moral theology may be manuals, but longer than many, many non-manuals pushing deviant theology. I suggest that manuals was not the real cause of change, rather a disagreement with the teachings in the so-called manuals.
