Your refusal to read past the second line of text in a quest log and thus spending hours trying to go somewhere the crate was obviously not while the answer was right there in 1080p 60fps on my screen everytime you opened the quest log had me both crying of laughter and on the edge of a pure rage induced aneurism. Great fucking video mate
I nearly had a mental breakdown… I was just so certain I was on the right place I didn’t feel the need to read the quest log, I was fuming with myself whilst editing it 😂
@@biggsey Jokes aside dude, from the concept to execution to production quality, this is some fucking good work. I just realized you have less than 700 subs, talk of a hidden gem huh. With content like that, this should increase fast, keep it up
I love the fact that your drive to beat the ambermill mobs drove you to explore so much more of the world and do RFC. That was amazing. I am now going to watch the rest of this series, you definitely got me hooked!
I'm on the other side of the fence. This is PRECISELY why this game (classic) is one of the best. Because you really do have to think, explore, think, work, think and then think again.
A lot of the quests have subtly misleading texts. I remember spending a lot of time trying to figure out how it got to be like that during vanilla. I played at launch and there wasn't a lot of help content back then. I even theorized, at some point, that the map had been rotated during development. That, I found out later, was not the case. It's probably just human error. I wouldn't call that terrible. But there's also the fact that no matter how much reading and understanding happens, if a quest say to go northeast, and the stuff is found northwest, then you are going to get lost.
I love the undead zones. They're so peak, but you don't need to do a lot of the barrens; once you get to 20, you can start Hillsbrad Foothills, and I highly recommend it. Early classic foothills is its own experience and is legendary.
Please keep this series going, really enjoying it and I'm tempted to try something similar myself. I've not really done Mulgore or the Barrens that much to the point where I have it all memorised, only little bits and pieces and it was all with Questie. Might have to try it too. Though I'm begging you to read the quests!! much love
Love it. I would kill to be able to experience calssic wow that way again. Sadly I know every damned quest for both horde and alliance, so that feeling of finding this or that, is unobtainable for me.
Go to the newplayer starting areas. You can also get to Mulgore easily through the center of The Barrens. You either have to do every single quest or grind to level in expansionless WoW.
Not true at all, and never was. Levelling in vanilla was not always a smooth process, but you didn't have to be a completionist or grind mindlessly. Between casual questing, farming mats for professions, and running the dungeons that your questlines sent you to a couple times, there was plenty of XP to go around. I started playing on the 20th anniversary servers again around Christmas break. I'm lvl 50 now, and I haven't done anything close to every single quest, and I haven't grinded at all. I spend quite a bit of time fishing, actually.
a full blind quest that would destroy so many people would be from westfall. it requires level 40 and the chain gets you a trinket. the guy who turns hops into booze gives you the quest. its im pretty sure alliance only but still it would destroy players without a guide.
5:48 - I died to these mobs in hardcore. Was my 1st death. I’m on my 4th character now hoping this will be the one to get to 60. Oh, and probably the same mobs at 7:24 was my 2nd death.
just a tip you were right to goto duratar but what u did wrong is that u need to goto the starting zone. even grey u get base xp then the troll town get the quests then get the quests in razor hill and there is more quests above razor hill. which i also run to the orc that make u kill gators and then run to the goblin at the canyon on the path to ogrimaar. also the reason i do this is getting the money to buy gear.
Honestly i think i would smash this challenge if i was playing orc, I've died so many fucking times on hardcore i pretty much got an entire strat figured out to level 25 and could do it with my eyes closed. this is not bragging this is pure pain
@biggsey really enjoying this series btw. I've been playing wow from the beginning, and only as Horde. I use limited addons and try to figure out quests on my own, but not to the extent you've been doing so far. It's great seeing something different than just the usual hardcore streamer style video. I've subscribed and look forward to the next video
As someone that has played through every starter zone multiple times before questie was ever a thing then came back to the game in classic and did it all over again…. This is incredibly infuriating to watch. Read your quests carefully don’t just skim!

I will not disagree 😂 hoping the next one will be up today!

I look forward to the search for mankirks wife.
WERS MANKRIEK WIEF... BEN LOKIN FOR HUORS!!!111
@MWarfield I played classic on a server named Mankirk, I saw more than one joke along the lines of _"maybe we're all mankirk's wife"._
@@flazzorb ManKRIK. 20 years of you guys all being dyslexic. Mankrik, not Man Kirk.
She's still warm if you want a go
@@teebob21 In my defense, I only ever heard it pronounced mankirk, _then_ played classic.
Keep this series going man, loving it.
Thanks mate! I shall reach 60… even if it takes me till the tbc launch!
@@biggsey lmao for sure. when is the next episode launching?
It should be towards the end of this week!
"How many times... ya thick.." howling at this lmfaoo
I'm on the other side of the fence. This is PRECISELY why this game (classic) is one of the best. Because you really do have to think, explore, think, work, think and then think again.
you also have to interact with other players, something the new generation seems not capable of
@@Blackadder75 Social interaction AND reading? Nope: GenZ and Gen Alpha are not going to be able to play this one.
Subbed this video brought back my frustrations from 20 years ago when there was no addons and there was no websites and we had to read.
funny how "playing wow normally" in 2006 is "going blind" in 2024
How gaming has changed…
The storytelling and the editing top notch I'll definitely be sticking through to the end
Lol, moral of the story? Learn to read AND understand that is written. There are like 3-5 quests in the game that has terrible texts.
My brain stops working sometimes

I’ve finished in foothills, and I absolutely loved it. It will be in the next episode!
Loving this mate, excited for next episode
the magic of classic wow is that you get so excited for a shitty green
Great editing, commentary and gameplay! Keep the videos coming... +1 sub!
Hey! Thanks so much, I’m trying to get them as quick as I can😁

My man❤️
3:17 Not gonna lie...thought those were spiders lol
I don’t blame you, they look terrible 😂
I was fully lolling through this as I’ve only recently done these qs on anniversary
Love it. I would kill to be able to experience calssic wow that way again. Sadly I know every damned quest for both horde and alliance, so that feeling of finding this or that, is unobtainable for me.
This is hilarious 😂 10/10
great series
Loving this series
the actual classic experience
sounds like me trying to go and do stuff on alliance side. I just tend to read the quests when I get them =)
mental. loved every minute

Lmao I love these videos. I hope you will continue to 60 and attempt raiding with addons as well.
Don’t worry I’ll get to 60! But at this rate, probably by the time tbc launches 😂
going blind, now you have the vanilla experience :D
Ah, this is awful and wonderful! Ive done the same thing myself, though in my case I thought "East" said "West" and ended up in another zone! XD
First mistake was thinking that blizz put as much effort into any of the horde zones as they did the human ones lol 😆
I do recognise this in the next episode 😂

I wondered what why he was stood there
And yet, in 2004-2005, we managed to figure it out without guides.

ya missus is a keeper
The scary thing is, I taught her how to play the game
Think there is a trainer at the "sepulker"
You’re shitting me….

I am trying to get the picnic basket in WOTLK with PVE special but its bugged😂 got 7 turtles by now😂
I was really hoping you went to the Barrens instead, thats a right of passage for horde

It definitely wasn’t 😂

There's a console command to reduce that awful glow from durotar and other zones like it. /console ffxGlow 0
if they are individual enemies, they aren't mobs :) a group of enemies is a mob.
mob - mobile object .... can be one
Leveling a warrior. Ugh. Only gets fun when you get the whirlwind....that doesn't whirl, but still kinda cool.
It has been a slog slow far, but it’s slowly getting better
The 2nd route was my 2nd character due to first time dumb
Ya thick 😂😂😂
I did the same dumbass thing with Varimathras. 🙏🏿
Yikes, can definitely tell you main alliance 😂 they are all little angry men
you should just go to Crossroads in Durotar past level 10 bro....
Ya Thick
AAAAAAAAND SUBBED
Haha pyrey wood
I have now learnt the correct pronunciation
oof ...
These addons were built for people like you who can't read.
so a quest took 5 hours because you were incredibly dense and did NOT read the quest log trough -_- gg
Can confirm… not brightest tool in the shed
RTFM
100% did not have too google what that meant..
why don't you just ffing ASK other players where a quest objective or NPC is? not everybody is a dick and they won't kill you for asking
Thoughht this was HC for a second.
Quite disappointed.
