Here's my RP business essay 😂 When a business doesn't revolve around a RP essential or isn't ran by a big streamer who's often there, it'll be always slow or straight up DEAD. Ramee also started the underground casino and it died because it's not an essential and as a big streamer he wasn't often there, so everybody stopped going. With Al Dente's, there's already other spots in the city to get food essentials. The moment Mr. K goes to sleep or left, Moore's also would die down. It's not that easy as K wants you to believe. Ramee's boat rental will be busy for the first few days because everyone will check out big streamer Ramee's new content spot. But eventually it'll die down because maybe a handful of people per day will rent a boat. It's not an essential. VLC used to be busy because people needed their gems appraised, which happened a lot. Jewelled Dragon will also eventually die out with K not in there. In NoPixel it was busy there because people needed their jewels for radio signal boosts and reloading boosts. Only reason in Prodigy to go there is if Mr. K is standing there, to have an interaction with a big streamer, or if someone wants a gang chain. Which isn't an essential. Wuchang will be populated by the artists who want to make music. That's an ''essential'' for the artists in the city. They'll be drawn there. I think its easy to shit on everyone who has dead RP businesses when most RP businesses die when it doesn't revolve an essential. In RP you always have to have few foodspots. Max should be 2 on different sides of the map. You need to draw people to 1 place so you have a RP hub. SNR Buns on NoPixel was half of a good idea, a good idea that they ruined by making it so that nobody can own it and then they ruined it even more with foodstalls because you spread it too much out. Food RP was at its peak in 3.0 with Burgershot vs Roosters Rest. Just 2 food businesses and there was RP around it. Food RP on NP went to shit when they allowed Uwu, Maldini's, Subway etc. It became too much. People got spread out. So even when its about an essential, its best to keep it as exclusive as possible to draw people to RP hubs. I would limit businesses on Prodigy, mostly revolve them around essential items. And when a new business enters the map, there should be an essential item that revolves around it. For example: you put a pawnshop in Prodigy, then make sure there's items that people need to get appraised and only employees can do that. Forcing the pawnshop to have multiple employees in different timezones. Have it be in a hub with other essential businesses so that people run into each other as well. While also have other hubs elsewhere with food spots, a spot where they sell things like repairkits and radios. And for the very non-essential stuff you could eventually introduce stalls, which also should be centralized in 1 location so that people will at least bump into each other over there.
