This product gets rave reviews everywhere. I havent seen one that said it was a rip off
Why would you put it on the gauge cluster as well? That’s not a touch screen or is it because of the gloss difference?
I’m assuming you never clean your gauge cluster when you wash your vehicle.
@@towm8tr yes I use a micro fiber with distilled water actually. But it isn’t a touch screen so finger prints Aren’t touching it to use it.
@@rickbachula7499 the screen protector isn’t for fingerprints. I can tell you’re young and inexperienced because your mind is equating a screen protector with a touchscreen, such as a cellphone or tablet. The screen protector’s essential function is to prevent micro scratches on the clear plastic gauge cluster which you get over time, even with using microfiber towels. Look at your gauge cluster with a flashlight. Guarantee you have fine scratches and swirl marks on it from cleaning.
To prevent scratches on the cluster or keep the scratch free when buying it new ..
How is the install doing since you did it???
The film has properly cured and it’s great! It’s super slick and hides all of the fingerprints that you would see otherwise!

I believe this product damaged the touchscreen in my brand new GMC Sierra AT4. Dealership said screen shorted out. I believe the amount of water used in the installation process caused water to seep into the volume knob and home button which is mounted on the screen (not the dash) in AT4 and Denali models.
These things are trash don’t buy
Can you elaborate some? I just installed one on mine today. The install went smooth and for precisely. Is there a quality issue after install?
