Everywhere that I go, everywhere that I be If you are not surrounding me with your energy I don't wanna be there, don't wanna be anywhere Any place that I can't feel you, I just wanna be near you And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you Sometimes it gets unhealthy We can't be by ourselves, we We'll always need each other, and Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you I just want you to know that If I could I swear I'll go back Make everything all better, whoa It's the things that you say It's the way that you pray Pray on my insecurities I know you're feeling me I know sometimes I do wrong But hear the words of this song When I go I don't stay gone for long Don't know what's going on And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you Sometimes it gets unhealthy We can't be by ourselves, we We'll always need each other, and Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you I just want you to know that If I could I swear I'll go back Make everything all better, whoa And I'm coming back home to you And I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home I'm coming back home to you I'm coming back home And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you Sometimes it gets unhealthy We can't be by ourselves, we We'll always need each other, and Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed To be stuck with you I just want you to know that If I could I swear I'll go back Make everything all better, whoa
very good tutorial can you please explain a little more when to the changes like you did the first half, I got when you id the changes, I would appreciate it so much I so happy that I am playing> God Bless you
Great video, thank you! I have a question about the function of that E7 chord. Seems like E7 would function as a V of iii but it resolves to vi. The sound still resembles that of a deceptive cadence but I don’t know exactly what is happening to make that work.
You're half right by saying that it works as V of the VI, it's actually the tritone substitution of the true V of the VI (A#). A#7 and E7 sharing the same tritone (D - G#) they are basically interchangeable. I made videos that talk about the tritone substitution (Best Part - Why It Works) you can find it in my playlists on my channel. I'm also mentioning the song "Blessed" in that one ! hope it helped ;)
Im a subcriber yet Ive been kick out some how in other words I cant get in my subcription is it pssible for me to start over some how its got to be a solution
I mean between the chords you walk through, you will press single keys for a more complex sound that are not detailed in the video it's a bit hard to keep up with because you can't always tell what your hand is doing and the keyboard above only highlights the exact key. Thanks for responding! You're doing a beautiful job
This was the best tutorial I have found so far, you really captured the vibe of the song, thanks so much!
can't explain how stoked i am to have found your page!!!
Everywhere that I go, everywhere that I be
If you are not surrounding me with your energy
I don't wanna be there, don't wanna be anywhere
Any place that I can't feel you, I just wanna be near you
And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
Sometimes it gets unhealthy
We can't be by ourselves, we
We'll always need each other, and
Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
I just want you to know that
If I could I swear I'll go back
Make everything all better, whoa
It's the things that you say
It's the way that you pray
Pray on my insecurities
I know you're feeling me
I know sometimes I do wrong
But hear the words of this song
When I go I don't stay gone for long
Don't know what's going on
And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
Sometimes it gets unhealthy
We can't be by ourselves, we
We'll always need each other, and
Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
I just want you to know that
If I could I swear I'll go back
Make everything all better, whoa
And I'm coming back home to you
And I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
I'm coming back home to you
I'm coming back home
And yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
Sometimes it gets unhealthy
We can't be by ourselves, we
We'll always need each other, and
Yes, I'm a mess but I'm blessed
To be stuck with you
I just want you to know that
If I could I swear I'll go back
Make everything all better, whoa

Hi, can you help me explain the sequence D#, D, C# and how should I apply it in other song? When can we use such chromatic progression?
great job, man!
Could you explain the notes you play between F♯11 and BMaj7?

Can you upload a video playing the whole thing so I can sing to it please?
Does this sequence of chords repeat throughout the song?
Yes it does pretty much! we also updated this tutorial to make it more clear. It's available here: musicgreatness.com/course/daniel-caesar-blessed/
What do 5,1 numbers on the side
It’s a suggested fingering for the chord. Each of your fingers has a number assigned to them from 1 to 5 (thumb to pinky)
Thank you very much! The end was a bit fast, but great video anyways!

Hey Clement, I already fixed your issue. I sent once again the credentials for you to login, I just tried and it works.
Can you do a play through?
Gabrielle Floratos he does it starting from 00:15
Do you have a website where this is all written down? You're teaching cords but not the minute transitions
