In this clip, Iman Shumpert spoke about gifting his wife, Teyana Taylor, a 1979 Corvette for their wedding anniversary, and he spoke about knowing the car from the movie “Rush Hour.” Iman also pointed out that Jordan used to drive around in vintage Corvettes, and one day Teyana spoke about loving that style. Iman explained that he wants Teyana to learn about the car and fix it up over time, and he detailed the skills that go into owning a vintage car. From ther, Iman and Vlad debated about Vlad’s viral gamer tweet. Iman vehemently disagreed with Vlad about the claim that depression is at the heart of people playing games for hours on end. It is a form of depression tho. sometimes you get into the zone getting away from your real life. and them real problems really do still be there. not everybody but a lot of people.

I agree. I recently tried to break into tech as a software developer and got stuck in a funk with all the rejections and humiliation of going back to my old job. I stop playing so much because I realized it wasn't helping my situation, demand a raise at my current job and started building an amazing start-up app in my new spare time. My screentime in COD alone was over 400 hrs and I probably would've lunched my by now if I had invested that time in real work. Now I barely play a couple hours a month
But it doesn’t mean DEPRESSION. It could just mean it’s FUN. Vlad says because HE was depressed, then it means EVERYONE is depressed. Rather than it just being FUN. People work hard then will still find time for video games because it’s ENTERTAINMENT

My friends and I use it as a way of communicating with each other we all grown with family’s and children but we get on a couple times a week and play 2k and joke around
Gaming saved me. While all my friends my age was outside getting locked up, hooked on drugs and more I was inside chilling on the game. I could of been like them, gaming kept me occupied.

Same reason my parents did. At first they would trip about it. But looking back as the gangs started growing. My parents started letting me get a new video game every 2 weeks. As a kid I thought they just started being nice. But as an adult I see they used it as a tool to keep me safe.
