This is not just a recording session, this is a MASTERCLASS & ART combined!!! BTW, it would be so dope if the background vocals came separated in the stems pack too!
This truly shows Mariah’s talent and musicality. And the vocal complexity of many of her songs. Fourth of July is a great example. I’m actually in shock! Another song that has an amazing vocal complexity is Close muy eres. It would be great if you could make a similar video on that song. This video was truly amazing, I cant get over ir!
She is mastered in everything❤ autotune could never.. And at that time it didn't even exist, and if it existed it was for a completely different purpose than today, it was to give effects to the voice like Cher used.
I’m legit crying right now.. lmao the musicality of Mariah Carey is unmatched. The way she can sing the same lines & verses differently each time 🙌🏾 my favorite is the loud bridge
Wow I found myself clapping after hearing this! The low note at the beginning, the amazing harmonies, the beautiful whistles. This is a musical orgasm. And to hear the music at the end made the entire video complete. Great job! It would be so cool to hear the beautiful hundreds of whistle notes in Bliss, and in the background of If It's Over you can hear a sustained d7 she sings with them in the climax. There are also tons of hidden whistles in the Fly away interlude as well as the Beautiful Ones. I love your videos! Keep em coming!
Words cannot express how grateful I am for this video. I’m telling you if you end up doing one of these for Underneath The Stars or Melt Away IM GONNA CRY! 😆😭 Thanks Mariah Stripped!!!
...lol the "yeah-e-yeah-aye" right after also sounds like something she'd also do, though, in that "baby-voice" you mentioned and not in the "Whispery Mariah" tone...
@@TemporaryTemporary-y2j OMG! Lol.. So true! Though instead of *_"yeah-e-yeah-aye"_* she might instead sing, 🎵 *_"bay-bae, bay-bae_* 🎶😂 but no hate and I mean no ill will. I'm actually a big fan of hers.

I love how some ppl and haters compare her to ppl abt recording in one take as if those artists she's being compared to does the processes of songwriting, production, direction, and of course the vocalization and arrangements of the song and not even mentioning the added layers and harmonizations. This, even only a single song showcased, outdoes others with her musicality and dedication in the music industry.
I'm addicted to all of her BG vocals, i remember i used to pull out the 3mm headphone jack halfway thru from my sony walkman just to hear the backgrounds, if you know what i mean 😂😂
but why brandy is the one who get credited for layers in her 2002 full moon album and she has crowned as vocal bible , while in 1997 Mariah do that thing...im confused here
Me intending to make a cover of this song: "Wow nice video now I can sing along and record all the vocals without trying to find Mariah's vocal in the original track" Me after listening to the last whistles: "Nah I'm good. Bye" Just jk lol. Love your videoss ❤. Her voice sounds soooo good here altho she didn't have to do any big belting or show off vocals. It was not only sophisticated and nice, but also very musically complex. Mariah is such a genius 🤷♂️
These are studio stems so there’s no program I use to extract background vocals. Basically I have every file recorded for songs. Like lead vocal tracks, and each track for each background vocal. I use Logic Pro to put the stems together:) GarageBand is an alternative
@@TheQueenOfLambily idk which channel, but they said they bought it to get the stems from some website or dealer... but i dont remember but i think its the channel who made the alternative version of her song

These complexities. How genius!!! No one could ever.
Just think of how long this took to record, mix, and master? The dedication and detail Mariah puts into her music is unmatched and 100% underrated.
I would give everything to see the complete studio recording sessions of the butterfly album. How amazing would that footage be 😍🥺
0:24 Whoa. That was the perfect interpretation. Mariah gives the listener everything the way it should be.
She's a genius in terms of making thousands of layers for the songs. I can't get over it!

Who gave her credit? Mariah has been layering vocals since her first album and it was very common in the 70s.
PLEASE DO CRYBABY 😭😭 it’s her best layering in my opinion
Crybaby is a masterpiece but doesn't come close to Fourth of July in terms of layering
