Thanks for the comment and am glad you found the video useful. To answer your question, we didn’t pay for seat. I kind of assumed that they will put us together and they did. My assumption was because I was travelling with a 13 and 9 year old. I thought it will possibly be unwise for them not to put my minor to seat with me. But, am not sure of the rule, they might just have done it based on kind gesture. I had another experience of travelling in Europe with another budget airline with my nephew, we are both adult . We didn’t pay to choose our seat. We got away with seating together going but returning they put us apart. Perhaps it might also depend on if the aircraft is full or not and also the number of groups/families and people who paid to choose their seat.
