Only con for the x1 is u must hard wired it for best results n x5 can do both n I do hard wiring its flawless in mine views from someone that owns the devices
man you people are out of your minds paying what? $300 bucks for this. when all you have to do is buy a $30 android box and install a cheap iptv service on it.

Have you encountered any issues with the wifi? It was working with wifi for a few days, but when I turned the box on wifi was not connected. I went to network & internet and selected wifi, but as soon as I selected wifi it said wifi is turned off. I reset the X5 box and my router, but still says wifi is turned off. I tried the box at anther location and also says wifi is turned off. I’m using an Ethernet cord now, but never encountered this problem with wifi before
By chance are you using a Wi-Fi six router? I discovered that it's not very stable on Wi-Fi six networks. When I connected my wireless AC router there are no issues.

It appears that it connects sometimes to Wi-Fi six routers. So you have to connect your old wireless AC router as a secondary router connected to the Wi-Fi 6 router for it to work properly with stable Wi-Fi.

I purchased the Transpeed X4 on Amazon for about $190 less. Same plastic box, same internal parts and same performance. I guess that the only feature, advantage and benefit with this box is immediate access to more pre-installed video and live programming???
My opinion... For $349 plus tax, I would expect a faster chip set, a metal box with a fan and a coupon for a month's worth of free car washes at the very least.
Besides that... How much programming can I possibly view in a day, month or year before my family and friends start calling me a couch potato? Maranatha
The high price tag on these boxes, 20% alone is for the box itself. The other 80% is for thousands of live TV channels you are receiving with no recurring monthly bills. So with this box it's a one-off for that service, hence the price.
@@tvboxstop Understood. Back in my days with cable TV, I would buy a subscription for 300 channels. After watching for a while, I noticed that I was really only interested in a dozen or so of those channels. Today I am thinking that between UA-cam, Prime and KODI, there will be plenty of content to watch with my little $57.95 TV Box plus there are so many KODI add-ons. Thanks again and Maranatha.

If your IPTV service provider uses Mac address as an option to connect you to the service, then you can simply install the app and give them your Mac address.

I believe they have since changed the way you activate the service. You first have to uninstall the old TangTV app on the box and update to the latest version. bit.ly/3ZaRIqL

I purchase and returned three Tanggula X5 boxes all for the same reason. Whenever I clicked on the TangTV app, I was prompted to put in a username and a password. After happening with three different boxes, I realized that the boxes were not the problem. I'll buy another box once I figure out what's going on with my confirgurations.

@Tanggula Multimedia The tech/support team was absolutely great to work with. The Tanggula wasn't the problem. I think the ATT Fiber optic was blocking something. I ordered another Tanggula. It's scheduled to be delivered in a few days.

That's everyone fear, but you know that's not the real issue? The real issue is price everyone is grumbling about. If it was worth $40.00 everyone would buy one and have no concerns about the service, because everyone is buying Android boxes to watch free streams from unreliable sources that no one can guarantee "might work tomorrow", but they buy the box anyway. 🤔

The deal with these boxes is that once you pay that crazy price for one you get free tv. Well i only paid about $35 for my android box and i figured out how to get iptv for free. Dont ask im not telling. I get just about every channel there is plus channels from all over including the adult channels. So compared to this box im way ahead of the game.

Buffering problems with this expensive Box
I can't say that you are wrong, and it also happens with Superbox and monsterbox. Recently they had major server issues and went offline for 3 days. Buffering will occur in between and from my analysis it also has to do with the box itself and available memory, as I discovered that closing all apps running in the background and clearing cache (not data) of the TandTV app improves the service greatly resulting in less buffering.
Price is a piss take.

Hi Steve, I know we believe in free speech but on UA-cam that comment can get creators like me in trouble with UA-cam's community guidelines. Netflix and Disney+ are paid subscription services and indicating to viewers that they can get something for free when it should be paid for is promoting piracy. Yes I know this entire channel is built around Android boxes which are devices that can be used to access what you are indicating, but they don't come preloaded and you the user makes that decision at your own risk. I know you might be saying what's the big fuss, but as a creator I could lose my entire livelihood and years of building a subscriber list in a snap, just for violating UA-cam's community guidelines as they have warned me on numerous occasions.
