OVER - English preposition

"over" has many different uses and meanings in English. "over" is a preposition, an adverb, a noun, an adjective and a prefix. In this lesson, you will learn how to use "over" as a preposition.

"overreact" is a verb, yes that is correct. It means to excessively react to something.
Example:
When he lost the game, he cried. He *overreacted.*
