Mincey has a real good chance to be elite in this defense!!....Either outside,inside,or as a 1-High safety.....MOST TIDE people really have ZERO clue how this secondary will be constructed,What schemes and responsibilities they have and will play,and what coverages will be utilized. Most TIDE fans still think that it is the CB position that is the most important in our backend..IT is NOT.....That will be our Slot Defenders.....The Strong Safety (Rover) and the Nickel(Husky)....THEY have to be ELITE in this scheme against the run +pass.....IF NOT,in THE Swarm? Forget it....Plus the Wolf has to be a schematic versatile guy for this type of defense and alignment to work.....NOT just a pass rusher....
Eli Ricks was 6’3. Would rlly love to land him. Could play multiple positions in the secondary. It’s gonna come down to Bama and UGA.
