Thanks for a great video. I just got my BMR Strut Brace STB019 for a 2022 Camaro 2SS and the instructions have the torque set at 16 pound foot of torque. I confirmed this to be accurate and NOT a mistake from Glen at BMR. Not sure why they changed from 35 pounds. It's practically the same car with the same exact set up. Have the specs been updated? Glen thought that it was a possibility. I hope someone knows for a fact and that this is not a mistake.
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 I appreciate the quick response. But if that's the case, then everyone else who has the 6th Gen Camaro has overtighten this brace by 19 pounds, unless there were some changes to the car that is not apparent visually. Thanks for the advice, I'll just go with it.
I have the single BMR STB. I'm really liking this latest version though. It also cleared up my concern with having the catch can. Clearance doesn't pose a problem. Thank you for an excellent video.👍
James Min it does make it a hair rougher too. Didn’t think I’d feel or notice any of that but I do. Maybe it’s cause of the spring upgrade before in combo with it. It’s not bad but it’s a hair noticeable over stock. Probably just better connection to car with it on. My guess
MojaveKY they have a black pinged metal but no blue. Would be easy to paint or powder coat. Saw the twin tube on a 5th gen at a car show and looked really good. Had to get it. It’s dangerous though 😁 find I’m a lot more confident in turns with it on.
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 update: installed looks great, I can fill the difference turning in to corners. Getting ready to do a oil change soon. Deciding if I'll need to remove it or get an angled funnel.
OnlineCarShow 🤔🤔 I haven’t really compared the LT1 and LTG side by side, but Visualizing it they seem not that far apart. If anything it’ll probably fit just right lol... I’ll check with BMR tho, thanks for the reply!
Yes I do intend to track and maybe AutoX vehicle. This is recommended from bmr. They have some excellent videos showing body flex under hard racing. The 1le is a excellent platform. Just seeing if we can make it even better.
MrFstang24 wanted to Followup on this comment after driving a week on car and feeling the different. First off I want to agree with you and gm. The 1le performs beautiful and I fell in love when I first drove this car. Remember I traded a c7 Corvette for this car... and I like this car better. With that in mind, I notice a difference when taking corners with the brace. I feel a a little more in tune with car entering and leaving corners. I seem to feel more confident taking corners sharper. I also have bmr performance springs on the car too remember. She really turns like she is on rails now. I’m hooked on bmr stuff. And no they do not pay me or sponsor me in any way. I learned about what they are doing for camaro in their channel where they take footage under the car during racing. I recommend you watch. And to back up gm again. This is by far the best turning pony car, maybe ever made next to zl1 1le.
BMR looks nice, and matches nicely to your under the hood red theme.
Thanks man 🙏
Saaweeet! Looking killer. BMR quickly becoming top dog in car suspension stuff. Used to be Hotchskis but they have dropped the ball
Camaro Time yes couldn’t do your shout out video till this came out. It’s next. Lol
LOL yep thats a great idea
Thanks for the shout out and nice Strut tower brace. I almost went with one like that
ZoutlawSS no problem man. Your channel and videos are great. Nice to get the word out about an awesome channel. 👍👍

I’d go with what BMr said 💯. I trust those guys…

No it’s not in the way at all. I love the stb. A lot of people claim it does nothing but I could feel a difference on corners after putting it on.
Dont forget Sane Sunday Live at 2pm EST see ya there
I’ll try to make that. I am doing a livestream. Next weekend Saturday 6pm with a bunch of other youtubers. Please come
saneauto we have a car youtuber group on the instagram. Look me up OnlineCarShow. I mentioned your show to group
I used the Corsa catch can, it does not use the OEM brace to firewall bolt.
Looks great 👍
Looks great
Wesley ensey thank you. I posted a reply earlier but doesn’t look like it saved.
35 inch pounds ?
Yes lol sorry. Should be close to what stock was pulling off
For some reason the last nut will not go on. It's pissing me off.
Try leaving the other side a little loose. Weird I saw this same issue with white SS 1LE I did GM strut brace on.
@@OnlinecarshowNet1 i was able to get it on there. I did loosen them.
I had it on my other 17 so I'm like wtf .
Thanks, I appreciate the help.
Brace yourself... I see what you did there... lmao
Bubba Blue 🤣
Now you need to get some one to plazma cut you a piece of metal with your channel name on it and weld it in place of the BMR in the center of the bars
Camaro Time your challenge is next video bud
Engine bay looking great
bingster 223 yea really added to it. Thanks 🙏
Looks sweet James. Thanks for answering my catch can question. Thumbs up!
I try to remember and answer. No problem. It’s a great question
Thanks for addressing this. I was getting ready to order this exact brace and catch can tonight and was wondering the same thing.
No problem man, was a great point that needed addressed...
How about some driving impressions?
Couldn't agree more.
I’ll add a Followup. All good things..,

Great minds definitely think alike.... you beat me to this one lol. Great video!!
Yes sir. Thanks for watching man. 😁
You have instagram look me up. We have a musclecar youtuber group. OnlineCarShow
OnlineCarShow got it
What’s the benefits of this vs the gm strut tower brace?
dang man ! now I have to buy one of these and paint it blue. it looks so nice and I would love to get my car to plant a little more

yeah I probably order it black and then paint blue. If I get red it will show too easily anything I mess up
I just ordered this part for my 2020. Thanks for the video! Just what I was looking for!
Glad I could help!

Anyone know where I can find one for the v6 6th gen
This is also good for the 2.0 turbo right?.... it’s pretty much the same chassis?..
I’m not sure to be honest. You might double check with bmr. It’s the top of the motor I’m worried might hit.

Yeah strut fitting will be perfect just the height. If your confident on that it should work. I loved mine. Good quality.
Cool channel
Thank you. Loving your channel as well...
Dude the box won.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is their a reason you added the strut bar? GM did not put one on the 1LE from the factory because they felt it was not needed.
Yes I do intend to track and maybe AutoX vehicle. This is recommended from bmr. They have some excellent videos showing body flex under hard racing. The 1le is a excellent platform. Just seeing if we can make it even better.
These things add like 20-30 hp. He’s doing everything he can to beat me now 😏 yes I’m joking lol
Bubba Blue 😁😁😁
