- Krunker just released a new update, they finally added a minimap system after years of talks! Originally, I thought this was gonna be added as a new kill streak, but I was wrong. It's already implemented into the game. Today, we will try our best to do a quick review of the newly added minimap in Krunker!

I think it's only the projectile weapons that don't show up upon firing (with grappler being just plain fucked ofc). IMHO minimaps were a neat idea and are amazing for certain custom games, but they discourage baiting and other map knowledge-related strategies. You can't use sound, bullets' angles of incidence, unexpected angles/camping spots, or a number of other factors to confuse people nearly as effectively when your absolute position is revealed without any skill required on the part of your opponent. As someone whose play style relies heavily on map knowledge and brain games, I don't like the minimaps; it gives too much information that was previously available only through experience and vigilance.
I think it should a killstreak instead

i dont get it like krunker is such a fast paced game the maps are small u dont even have time to look at that map otherwise someone will just kill u

what client do u use? my rays client broke bc of this css change so im looking for a new one (also, rays didnt break for every rays user, but it did for me)
Minimaps were actually in spectate mode for a long time now
Mini map also shows people spawning on the map
Ok yes i know the minimap is cool, but its making people lag and the frames dropping insanely low. I dont like this update and they should update this map with (unable disable) because with does settings added the minimap is useless. keep up the good content. (hope that they update it as quick as possible)

Lol you got point, yeah Krunker should added unable and disable minimap cause im like that to. Before update my FPS is 80+ but after update its down to 65 FPS

Hey, I think that the minimap makes non sense in casual mode. Because of the peace of the game if you Bhop around it doesnt matters if you show up or not... you cant really aim well unless you bhop yourself.. and than you also need to look at the minimap.
So in my opinion it is useless and its just making camping harder or it makes the life harder for players like me who likes to play more in a slower peace.

i think it's unfair for shotgunners since they shoot walls and stuff...
The minimap should turn sideways when you shoot the wall so that you can know what to expect farther down the wall
