- After dealing with the maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, confronting the owner of the mansion. Remilia Scarlet, the charismatic vampire that caused the Scarlet Mist as well as giving us a little time to prepare for her classic but recreated theme to be played.
Let's give a quick overview of her theme. This is such a classical Touhou track, not because of how it was made but because of how its composition was based on. Her theme's composition is inspired by Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13 (Sonata Pathétique), Third Movement. which was written by the most prominent classical musician named Ludwig van Beethoven. With the nature of the character, the theme fits quite well into this setting. It's the most unique (final boss) Touhou track ever made in the series, but nearly popular enough to be known....
Like most EoSD recreation mixes, no chorus effect has been applied except for the Romantic Tp (ZUNpet). since the instrument was played and recognized according to the original source, it remained quite faithful to it. so this was an occasional exception, and the rest? it gave more clarity to the mix albeit the other trumpet was a bit bothersome but it had to stay true to how it originally intended to be.
This theme was a classic and had its influence to other arrangements as well as non-Touhou ones (specifically the Beethoven Virus remixes). Now her little sister should arrive sooner or later....

I really like how this recreation is subtly different, it doesn't try to be this grand epic remix, but rather focuses on unclogging your ears.
Wow this is really cool! I think I love recreations more than remixes because the you can tell the artists really respect the source enough to recreate instrument timbre and mixing enough to try and make it even better. Well done!
Oh, it's PerlDrop. Thanks, it's usually uncommon to see artists who make stuff that are faithful to what it originally sounds like. (and they're pretty underrated)
Love it when people arranging this song keep the piano solo in there in it's original glory. It's a musical masterpiece
yeah that part is almost never there, and done right even more rarely. demetori's arrange hits it right on though
Fr man my favorite part of the song but sadly there aren't many remixes that can actually do it justice, so far I have only found one
Good+
WOAH, this is like.. Someone translating the clearer song I imagined while listening to the original PERFECTLY! Those classic three notes with a pause, followed by the chorus, never sounded so clean and true to the original. Good work!!!
This is amazing, it sounds as if a remake of EOSD came out today and this was the remastered version of the song, great work!
原曲に限りなく近いけどアレンジ入ってるの
とてもいい・・・
I saw that Beethoven.
Great work!
This is a wonderful recreation, very faithful to the original. I like.
Very nice work, like how you give a indepth explanation in the description!
this sounds really good, seems like something ill be listening to every hour of the day :D
Wow this is AWESOME! this is unironically my first recreation i've heard but you've already got me in love with them! great work and subscribed!
respect for composing the wav version instead of the midi version 😎
This is awesome
Love it.

Very lovely indeed!

Amazing recreation! Although id have made the drums a bit more dominant. Other than that though, its a great piece
I haven't played Touhou (...yet) but hot dang if the music wasn't top-notch, like *wow.*
tbh the brightness 3 should be quieter
(Sorry if I bother) Is there anything related to seihou that you'd do?
i'd like to hear vivit's 3rd theme recreation by artifex
@@NeiroYT i'd personally love the 2nd one, illusory science
Who made the art work?
see description (海源, apparently, but I don't know how to pronounce that)
eh... I want to hear Beethoven's notes here,,,,
