I am old enough to remember taking typing class on one of those back in 1971. Those babies were awesome tools for their time. And the correcting white-out tape was like magic. Flash-back video for me.
Learned to type on one of those in high school in 1970. It's hard to imagine today, but that was state of the art back then. People could type 50 or more words a minute with no errors on them!

It's still state of the art, for a typewriter, but those are not state of the art anymore.
