Harken is also a very good starter unit, I use a off brand multi hit team as I’m missing a few units for the meta team. Belletor Elydron Imo Harken Sho
I think people tend to forget about Imospekh, it has a 6 hits high pierce damage and his active does a tone of damage. It is useful in horde modes with his passive and for the campagne if you ça protect it. Finally you get it pretty early too. It's a massive asset for Rogal Dorn where Re'vas is unusable with its low pierce ratio
I got lucky and pulled an early rho, and made a makeshift admech deam with rho, eldy, and the three basic necrons, it was a very good team, i pretty much still use it, except that mahkotep was swapped out for sho'syl, but imospekh was and still is a very useful team member, on the first round when i usually can't get in position to reach the boss his overwatch takes care of the trash enemies, and lots of hits/high pierce makes him very consistent
For the elite campaign you need to have him around silver 3 - gold 1 anyway so its no waste to build him but he is not GR meta at all. For LRE he can be an option, but he doesnt fit to many traits imo and for level 12+ you need to build him pretty high otherwise he cant kill on his own and hes not very tanky. I would invest my resources not above Gold1 tbh
A lot of people get Wrask early on too. He's not as easy to level as a core campaign character, but his shield can compensate for a lot of beginner mistakes. His damage isn't great but the first objective is to not get wiped immediately
If I were to start again, I would focus on campaign toons FIRST, rank these campaign toons to the most minimum to 3 star the campaign. SECONDLY, I would focus on ARENA. I would rush to get to chapter masters and try and stay there as long as possible (there should be guides for this). Ive made some of my own which is simple and efficient. THIRD, I would build an admech RHO BRO team for guild raid. So I could enter those high ranking guilds in guild raid. This way, I could maximize player experience and get to end game content faster!
Main problem is main access to charaters needed to get there. This game is so newbie punishing. Once youve missed certain release events, its close to impossible to get them, much less get them to legendary, especially characters without campaigns. You have to spend a lot of $ and then some to even get a slim chance to obtain certain characters that are crucial to even compete.
Top raid team for beginners. Eldryon, Bellator, Aleph, Archimatos and Gulgortz. All easily to get and pretty useful overall for guild raids, campaign and so on. Archi falls off midgame the others are very good to usable even endgame. Also try to join a top end guild (cluster) like LEGIO. you can start in a lower guild (LEGIO adamantium) and advance to the top (LEGIO aurum top 10)
Substitute Snotflogga for aleph and you have my raid team. I'm level 31 and doing between 75-100k/battle against everything but ghaz and Rogal Dorn but the guild I'm in is only getting up to the first or second epic boss
Another great video. I’ve been playing for maybe 2 months now. My raid team looks almost exactly like this but with Angrax instead of A0, purely because I was more interested in the FoC campaign than the Indom mirror. I use Haarken as my fifth because he just happens to be among my strong characters what with all the free shards, but I’ll probably swap him out once I get my Necrons leveled up a bit
More "no legendary" comps. Not being able to unlock rho, neuro or ragnar mean i cant follow any guide out there lol appreciate this Now if only the wiki was detailed and had comp information lol
As a new player, I'd say that the biggest issue I have identified with the game is that it is overwhelmingly geared towards more experienced players and this approach possibly costs in player retention
nah, the basic concept is pretty simple and only later on you dive into the mechanics of the guild raid bosses. advice. join a top guild cluster they will teach you how to play and advise what to build. like the LEGIO
Devs need to add something to the game that helps new beginners like boosts XP,2-3 ,increased drop rates of characters, energies 50% for 2-3 days And campaign drops 100% for 2-3 so they can get on a fast track. At level 20 is when guild war starts for everyone at least newer players should be able to enjoy and participate with less spending.
Join a guild and rise up with them. The grind you do together makes you all part of a real team. If you’re a leader then start a guild. (Don’t worry about middle and late game. Worry about supporting each other, it far more important than anything else in the game). And most of all, remember to min/max to “win” because winning is fun, but also pick characters just for fun. It’s just a game so don’t be too serious.
This is where context really matters. What are you defining as 'really well' as Titus & Lucien aren't optimised in terms of number of hits so other characters could do better than them if equally levelled. I'm not saying it's bad but someone like volk or revas would likely do better purely because they do 6 hits.
@dafruk1 I slaughter the common and uncommon bosses so we can work on the actually hard ones Oh and still top frag on those too. My guild isn't exactly end-game level, I started during the Space Marine 2 event
@@dafruk1lucien is 5 or 6 hits too (with his passive), and it was my first hre, meaning it is a character I could have epic without fragments, where the others were uncommon. And, not sure that re’vas or rho are part of the scripted pulls (I received both early, but I think I was lucky to have them)
I think a good 5th character for early raid teams is Haarken. Everyone gets him, he unlocks at a high level, is essential for the Cadia campaign, and fly with 4 attacks means he gets there and benefits from the buffs. Unfortunately his utility drops significantly in the mid game and he’s not worth investing in beyond a certain point, but that doesn’t matter for new starters.
agree. he is one of the better units against rogal dorn also. although he doesnt fit into the better teams like Ragnar I did use him a lot for anything.
I would like to see your take on B tier comps, such as the Maugan Ra team that fell from grace when ragnar and avatar were introduced. Mainly because I am a lot closer to forming a Maugan team than I am a Ragnar team.
Royal dorn - you need to have a reasonable pierce value to bypass armour. I think it's anything above 60% and because the AoE damage summons can be detrimental as they'll often move into the area triggering everyone to take hits. Doing crits switch the AoE off. Ghasgul - above a certain number of hits you get 90% damage reduction on hits, so it's meant to incentivise a low hit, high damage comp
Rogal Dorn is a pain for lower level guilds because he really needs to be attacked with different characters than you might normally use. Stay away from spawns as they set off his horrible AOE. 60% piercing minimum. Split up your party and try to get behind him with Haarken. 2 crits and he drops his AOE. Also if you have any character with infiltrate they won't set off his AOE. But even a perfect battle against him I'm still doing half my normal total

what an incredibly new player friendly raid team, great video
My retinas love the darkmode. I like it

Thanks for the info. Appreciate the assistance.
Thx, I've been using the same team for every situation (campaign, guild raid, arena)

Eh. You start off with many generalists and then you start using specialists. You don't just jump to BiS. That's true for most games.

Thank you for touching grass. Appreciate at least someone doing it
Really good guide - better than Nandi's imao...:) everything you'd want to know as a beginner.
My raid team consists of Eldryon, Bellator, Isabella, Titus, and Lucien. It does really well lol

Finally got the dark mode update
Kudos for the noob video I'm end game but like you said I wish someone would've warned me earlier about how finite the resources actually are!!

Honestly I'm level 40 and I'm still using him in guild raids since I haven't built the more meta teams yet
I used him in guild raids and arena until I got Jain Zar. He's a really good character to learn with

It works but fell off the cliff after Ragnar. basic composition with Eldy and other multihit units like Bellator works fine
Great video.
Hey Draupnir I have a question out of the topic but plz answer if you know! Is there gonna be any blackfriday sales?
hey! Any chaos champs to spread the burden of ORBS?

Hey, dark theme now?
Who let you out of the house?
My guild just reached Rogal Dorn, we are struggling and the guides online are ... not that friendly 😅 can you explain the Rare bosses?😊
