The last several visits to Ikea, I left disappointed for several different reasons but mainly the lack of stock and availability of products. No reflection here on The House of Valentina of which I love - just my observation.
I've had problems with ordering online with Ikea for a long time. An item states it's available in my zip yet when I get to check out, most of what I've ordered has suddenly become unavailable. I just don't have the patience to walk through the store and those lines!

In my opinion, it seems like stores are taking advantage of online ordering especially when customers have to pay for shipping. To be honest, I've noticed that many stores have a lot of registers but only a few open, half being self checkout on a weekend morning during prime shopping hours. It drives customers away from the physical store & the shopping experience a customer wants.

I am planning a trip to the Atlanta IKEA soon. Last time I was there it was disappointing, like someone else commented. Supply issues seemed to seriously effect the inventory. They were out of the most basic things. I am Swedish and part of the amusement as I walk around IKEA is seeing the quirky Swedish names the designers give the products. It’s like they take pleasure in torturing non Swedes with the pronunciation struggles. Great video as always Valentina ❤

I love those sculptural pieces in the beginning of your video, I could find somewhere in my home for those, also the cushions were very nice and again something I’d incorporate into my home even now that we’re into our Autumn months but still feels like Summer 🌺, the mirrors were lovely and that mirrored light, I’ve never seen anything like that before, it’s very interesting with it’s design, unfortunately our IKEA doesn’t have the same item that you have over there in the USA 🇺🇸 compared to here in Australia 🇦🇺 😢, I usually have to go to a store named “Pillow Talk” or “Adairs” to get similar items ❤️❤️…Great video as always V. So we see a lot of rattan since a couple of years. The walls are painted white or in pale pastels. Also an eclectic style with a mix of things and colours has become more common. Then wallpapers with organic prints in many colours can be found together with all sort of things and much greenery. It's very popular to plant your own seeds and green plants and make them thrive. That colourful and eclectic style is totally the opposit to the plain Scandinavian style we have seen for years and years.
Ikea always has something good.... unfortunately they've had supply chain issues... so if you like something buy it right away otherwise you may be sol if you go back for it

I saw the Bastua collection in store yesterday. The wooden furniture items are terrible quality. The tray table and the bench are too small to be functional... I don't recommend these. If you like the patterns, the fabric items look ok-ish... But not as good quality as the fabric items in Marimekko stores.
Don't buy the lisabo table, the quality is horrendous! If you so much as lay a thing on it it's gonna scratch. We don't even eat on it and it's all scratched up so bad 😢

From Fredensborg, the town of the Summer Palace in Denmark, it is supposed to snow tomorrow. However, in March, it won’t be around for weeks or months as you know. As for the wooden outdoor tables, make sure you treat them with a weather sealer. Especially if you buy the kids picnic table. That stuff does not hold up well with winter and rainy conditions. I am trying to avoid IKEA this month, since I am broke while I finish my MSc. I cannot wait to go back home to the States for the summer. I live over here now with my Danish husband.

IKEA is not my cup of tea. Some items give me Dollar Tree vibe. Some bedding and pillows covers I find appealing to buy.
