Birthday at the Motocross Track

- Evan wanted everyone to head out to the MX track on his birthday before we celebrated with his formal party so we all headed out to the Airway Heights MX track and had some fun riding around. Evan is getting faster on his CRF150r and my kids continue to try and get better on their YZ Two strokes. I also got to ride my brother in laws CRF450l with the San Diego Powerhouse Kit and its running great. We all had a good time with only a couple minor crashes this time

And you didn’t hound at all man- it was only suspension adjustments made for their riding comfort and safety that you were rightfully concerned with. And no one is perfect anyway.

I remember this day the track was a disaster.... A *tip* for Liam, try taking all the corners without putting your foot down. You're reaching way out to the side and that looks dangerous 😱 It's best to just keep both feet on the pegs honestly 👊😎 You boys are killing it 👏

Make a video of your kids riding in the trails with head cams
Tylers getting his leg forward near the front axle but Liam tends to hang it out to the side which will tear up his knee if he hooks his foot up in a rut. Id get him to try to stay more on the pegs cos torn up knees dont get nicer with age. Theyre doing great out there.
I am glad you and someone else pointed that out. When I was teaching them originally I said your leg goes up not out but I haven’t been catching that. It is cool to see them all progress though. Way better than I was at that age
@@DadsDomain after a year unable to ride cos of the left knee going 90degrees out to the side after sliding on clay i dont do leg turns now! I wait for the bike to tuck under and snatch the bars straight to get it back up.....or lessen the crash!

I know it’s really weird standing up and being in correct standing position. But no madder how much you play with the suspension, if you sit down on jumps your going to get kicked around.

Your ready for an 85 two stroke or a 150 now. I figure Tyler who is on the 65 now will ride it this year and next then move up.
