Here's my story: My pity was at 70, 50/50. Pulled a ten and lost to Gepard. At that time, I thought I lost all hope, all that anticipation for nothing. But watching his trailers and listening to covers of his theme on repeat really told me to go on. I grinded and lost my f2p reputation, but I eventually got him at 78 pity! Total pulls on his banner: 88 :) All you guys who are still grinding for him, I salute you!!! Hope you all get Aventurine! All in!!! Currently grinding for his LC!
When his banner began I had him guaranteed and with ~84 pulls saved (60 pity at the time) so then I pulled and got him at 80 pity, then I gave the rest of my saved wishes to spend on his weapon banner AND I ACTUALLY GOT HIS LIGHTCONE AT 30~40 PITY AND WON MY 50/50!! So then, I did why any sane aventurine simp would do: I spent the rest of my 30 wishes on his banner. Added with the anniversary wishes and completing forgotten hall, MoC, Simulated universe, swarm disaster, and gold and gears, I farmed up enough wishes to get to 60 pity in less than a week AND I GOT AVENTURINE AGAIN 😍🥰
I remember saving everything after Argenti for this man. 150 pulls just for him. I KNEW I just HAD to have him. A month and a half later, double 5 stars with Aventurine and Himeko. Couldn't complain though, cause Robin came to me just afterwards. I felt like I had that Golden touch being a F2P player. Aventurine has been my number 1 go to on my team ever since.

Jingliu is still super solid and besides Acheron she's is definitely one of the best in the game! Especially since she's one of the only good Ice units ✨

I would genuinely argue Aventurine is a better unit than Fu-Xuan in most cases but some people look for different things in survivability, personally I think Fu-Xuan needs her light cone quite badly... But either way, both units are GREAT, you are set for Memory of Chaos with an Aventurine!! ✨
If your a new player I would honestly celebrate the fact you got a Bronya!! Sad to hear you pulled many times... but it could've been worse right? She is incredible, and if you didn't get Sparkle I would say Bronya is definitely a great addition to ANY account ✨

Aventurine is a PHENOMENAL Support, running him on the DEF% Shield set and Broken Keel is essentially guaranteed survivability!! ✨ I was able to clear Conundrum V for Golden Gears with him and Fire Trailblazer!!! They are INSANELY GOOD, so he'll definitely treat you right as long as you build him!
I failed Aventurine's banner(60 Pity) and every male character banner I attempted (Should I go for Fu Xuan because Preservation, Firefly because cute or Boothill because cowboy)
