Ikr krieg is my favorite character and every time i do op levels with him theres constantly the feeling of "hahah die die die" and "i hope they dont die and i burn myself to death"

@@thekingtoastamo5808 lead storm is more accurate and damage is better but, hail for me is more superior by a slight margin just because of its healing functions, expanded splash damage size and its fire rate may be slower but it doesn’t take time to spin

It's an absolutely devastating rifle on gaige. It may take like 3 or 4 seconds to spin, but once it does, you get soooo much damage since the bullets actually split and have way more fire rate than the hail. Make sure to wear a bee and have 650 stacks
For anyone like me who hates the visual effect of the Flame of the firehawk there are great mods that remove the flash making it much easier on the eyes

Something that would have been sick was if you used your action skill you would have a buzz axe to use and throw in your left hand but in your right hand would be your regular weapon like an unkempt Harold but if you hold the action skill button you two hand your buzz axe like normal and beat the crap out of enemies with it

Strip the flesh does not give more FFYL time, it gives a further bonus to explosive damage while in FFYL

Krieg brought me back to BL2 when I quit because I said: "Borderlands 1 is the authentic game, ho-ho!" But when I saw Krieg I quickly jumped back to BL2. And hell I was so fortunate to do that! Now I say: "Borderlands 2 is more authentic than Borderlands 3, ho-ho!" Damn nostalgia! XD
Krieg is what made me fall in love with the game.

Id like to add that i respecced and took a few of your suggestions and theyre working out far better for me than i thought:
Got rid of the more melee focused skills like the buzzace duration and dmg reduction while in buzzace for the kill skills goving reload and swap speed…made a HUGE difference…and instead of(after taking bloodsplosion) going straight into the fire tree, instead went for the health regen from mania…good shit!
I am now waiting for a Krieg playthrough! Again lol

if you use a fire infinity or any elemental infinity you could spam heal and never die just do crud damage though
I decided to go with Krieg for my attempt and the other two playthroughs I'm going to go with a melee/bloodsoion build the people say melee falls off in ultimate vault Hunter mode so I'm unsure if my build is going to work

Easily, he only has the glitched inventory so he can show off everything without having to make cuts to run to the bank
the command Lilith DLC is really necessary? I have the handsome collection, it has all DLCs but not that last one.
It's super nice to have an extra 8 skill points although the coding for level 80 tubby drop rates equal old OP8 so I dont see as much point in OP10 especially since it glitches vora and hyperius to have double hp, still would go to op10 for challenge runs ofc

I totally got screwed by BL3 today. Played arms race twice beat the boss extracted my legendaries and as I was fast traveling my game crash twice the same way and when i hopped back in I didn’t get any of the legendaries which I extracted. I feel I should of at least have gotten them with the crash but I didn’t get any of the 5 legendaries I sent. I’m so annoyed right now and it makes me not want to play arms race at all now as where I would hop in once twice a month.

I can understand that. Personally Krieg is my favorite character but his high risk high reward play style isn’t for everyone

@@jayhypnos6872 gaige is relatively easy to play imo, you just gotta stack anarchy on an ammo crate for a while before you actually play her
I just find krieg is much easier to use personally. Anarchy is just annoying imo
Thank you for this! Krieg was still my first character and since I hopped into the Borderlands series right before BL3 was announced, he’s my only level 80 max character atm. It’s also a struggle to find up to date guides on characters for me atm, so this video helps a lot!
Kinda wish there was more levels so we could max out all skill trees and just end the entire world if we wanted to.

the first time i played bl2 i played krieg and used a bladed gun for a melee build , i also didn’t know what skills to use so i just went down the hellborn tree
I love that you talk about all the little interactions with the unique effects like how pistol firerate affects buzzaxe throw speed. I've always been one who loved all the weird interactions with krieg. kinda like how if you have the right build you can make e-tech dahl assault rifles deal negative damage on critical hits, still hope that borderlands makes another super out of the blue balance patch so I can use e-tech snipers. Like imagine if a maliwan e-tech sniper gets bonus splash damage on hits and only consumed 1 ammo per shot. you could have some really unique builds with krieg or axton.

Hear me out a second Homing Pandemic in Torgue bar fight = complete chaos Rounds 1-3 everything melts within a few seconds on Normal mode going to test round 4 and 5 on Normal and 1-5 on TVHM to see if it still works 😅

never was good at krieg idk I just couldn't play him well and his skills didn't match my play style I don't think I even got to uvhm on him
I am currently playing through UVHM on a 100% legit kreig save. its fucking hard, even with some of the best gear in the game
I am using a melee rubi, and even still i can barely stay alive.
you need a really well rounded build to function, and I went all melee. I had to spec out of STV because I just kept killing myself.
TDLR: Krieg is very hard to play, but very rewarding
Honestly he’s only fun at end game once you’re fully set. Same with Gaige. I never bothered to get them both maxed out legit. The rest yes
@@Dr.Gamboa actually shock gaige scales fairly well. It requires the same amount of farming as maya or zero, or if you're willing to farm for norfleets and a sham, they'll last you a while because of anarchy.
@@Dr.Gamboa the axe throws are very satisfying to get kills but just get too weak tbh compared to alot of other characters and their action skills
@@0xGRIDRUNR I agree! Gaige is simply not fun to farm with, or just level up with (imo) same with krieg. I rather download saves and enjoy end game with them. Zero though? I’ve maxed him out so many times that I lost count.
This is the first character I ever played, it took me about a year to really get into BL2 because without knowing how to build him or what guns to use, I just thought it was a ridiculously hard game. Now I have an OP10 Salvador, Gaige, and Krieg. One of my top 5 games, for sure.

Krieg is the most enjoyable character in Borderlands 2 change my mind.

this is amazing, i really like krieg, he is my favorite and always will be, he just has a very unigue play style and character roleplay. thank you so much Joltz! also can you do a bandit only krieg? that would mean a ton to me.
Slagga and splasher blaster for the whole run with the gub sounds like a good challenge
I prefer a tediore mag relic for javelin because it makes the reload faster and the mag grow faster which mean faster and much higher damage chucks before waiting for stacks to decay. On the other hand javelin is the only OP10 viable build that takes full advantage of krieg's health stacking so the blood relic is a lot better for survival.
Krieg has a passive bonus to melee damage based on his level, and this bonus doesn’t stack with bladed weapons. So, past a certain level it’s actually detrimental to be holding a bladed weapon with a 50% damage buff because it overrides the passive melee damage boost which would be more effective. TLDR, don’t use bladed weapons on Krieg past level 50, unless it’s the Law or the Rapier.
The Gaige video is probably gonna include the words ‘anarchy’ and ‘stack’ then end lol
Which kinda saddens me coz while its the best build there are a few other builds out there. With UCP theres even a melee build that works at op10

hello everyone!question-how did the size of the backpack in the video turn out to be so huge?wasn't this bug fixed? and if there is some solution, I would be very grateful to find out how it can be done
He just used Gibbed save editor to add as many items as he needed
Really late but a way to increase backpack space is by adding items to your main inventory, sell the cheapest weapon in your inventory then buy it back which well open a slot in your inventory. You can also do this with shields, grenades, class mods, and relics.
Is there a reason not to use the purple toast over the torch? I feel like the toast would just be straight up better because you get damage, mag size, accuracy, and reload. At the cost of a bit of fire rate and somewhat less consistency with on fire uptime.

For the legendary torch build i didn't see the slag Orc - ogre combo.. the fire rate from the class mod plus the extra random fire rate from orc and ogre will build up insane fire rate. Everything will melt around you.. just a thought of mine..
