      People underestimate the power of wing chun but you can clearly see this man here can apply power any time he wants to as well as speed and grace. My style Matsubayashi Ryu Traditional Karate takes Chinese arts into consideration when we train. Master Nagamine having spent time in China during the war was impressed by the Chinese and simplified Okinawan Karate when he got home to found his style.

    The first one. He used a TAN SAO inside to LOP SAO (open hands) to GRABBING HANDS. And a CHEUNG CHOY PUNCH. On trap two. He used a PAK SAO and GUA-CHOY (back fist) into a PAI-JAANG (horizontal elbow) in tight. (Right arm) then. On 3. He used a 1. FUNG HAO (parry chop) and JA-JEUNG (side palm) with a FOOK SAO Fox paw control hand over the bridge. ☮️😛🤛💯#the martial man audience deserves the best. 😉💯💥🤛#samuelkwok is legit.

    • @srinfinity5587

      This is because people that train wing chun don’t always want to fight. It’s the mentality that’s the cause of this. However, if you train every day, focus yourself, eat well, and push yourself just like any other athlete would and incorporate wing chun philosophy into your actions, you will then see the effectiveness of wing chun.
      Knowing how to fight in terms of the techniques is one thing, adapting and deceive ring under pressure is another

    • @dekudude8888
      @dekudude8888 10 місяців тому

      Maybe in MMA, you could combine WC with another style, but most Wing Chun's benefits will be overshadowed by something like Judo or Wrestling in close range. I could definitely see a lot of the trapping and counters being useful against certain styles

    • @irafair3015
      @irafair3015 Рік тому

      To me, it seems more for self-defense than actual competition. The wonderful thing about Wing Chung is that it seems to be designed for people who are not particularly big, strong, or athletic. It seems to be more practical for "ordinary" people who want effectively ward off attacks from those intent on causing harm in the real world, not in a ring or octagon. That is not to say that other martial arts are not practical for the same purpose but with many other arts it seems one must be more athletic for it to be truly effective. Just speculation on my part.

      Wing chun does work it is an advanced martial arts. Thing is that people use improper wing chun and get defeated easily thing is that they chase hand and wait and defend but in reality wing chun is about as you are attacking you are defending. And also attacking and defending at the same time and some points are technique, forward pressure and hit the mass.
