something interesting I noticed about Cooper Rush vs Dak prescott. Seems with Dak Prescott, everyone assumes he’ll make plays to carry the team, so other offensive players anre unconsciously taking their foot off the gas. But under Cooper Rush, the entire offense knows they need to step up, So we see Receivers running crisper routes. The offensive line tightening up in pass protection. The running game being more deliberate and physical. Rush might not have Dak’s talent, but his presence seems to demand accountability from the rest of the unit. With Dak Prescott, the offense is designed to run through him, which adds immense pressure to his shoulders. That pressure can spill over to the team, especially when Dak struggles. For example: If Dak throws an interception early, the team’s confidence can waver because so much depends on his play. Coaches might overcomplicate the playbook to take advantage of Dak’s abilities, which can overwhelm the offense. With Cooper Rush, the pressure is shared across the team. Players know Rush is there to manage the game, not win it single-handedly, so the focus shifts to collective execution rather than relying on one superstar. The irony here is that Cooper Rush’s limitations elevate the team’s performance, while Dak’s talent can sometimes lead to over-reliance or complacency. This doesn’t mean Rush is better-it just means the Cowboys’ offense functions differently when they know they’re playing with a backup. It’s a fascinating psychological effect, and it’s not unique to football. You see the same dynamic in workplaces, classrooms, and other team-based environments: When the “star” is out, everyone else shines a little brighter.
I’ll move him to RT. Please hush on this bench Guyton crap frfr. Did we bench Mazi or we keep giving him cracks at it?? We ain’t benching no 1 rd pick like be fr people.
Going to miss you Mike i wish uour GM would have really all in last year and brought in the few players that would have given you a serious run to the Superbowl to show what you can do as a coach
They should be letting every o line guy have reps in game at every position except bb needs every rep at center asim Richardson is finally looking good maybe guyton could be really good on the right side but agree steel is done
Nah i think mcarthy an zim will be back in dnt think u can fire the man with all the injuries but if that idiot trys to run the clock out again like he did Sunday jerry should fire him on the spot run the dam ball get the 1st down end the game an none of that crazy shit happens
You’re gonna see MIKE MCCARTHY WAS NEVER THE PROBLEM! Stop letting these UA-camrs convince you it’s Mike’s fault instead of what THE JONES’ have given him to work with!
Believe it or not, putting Trey in for play forced Cooper to be more motivated to play better because he knew another backup Qb's ready to sub in for him or even take his place and he DID indeed play better last game against Washington. Hope Trey will get more chances to sub in for short passes or even one or couple of series besides hand offs and runs next game and Cooper will also play even better next game.
Bullshit. Putting Trey in had Nothing to do with nothing. Dude Stop. Dumbest Cowboys football take of the day. Utter rubbish. Cooper played better, the backs and WR's played better for 1 reason. The same reason when we DO play well on offense....the OL played better! Period. Best game they have had since Pittsburgh, which was their best game of the season. Literally that simple. Our OL is the key to our entire offense. Every player except Tyler that's been varied forms Bad, terrible.
@@rgtunderworldrgt7773 You just saying the o-line better is dumbest bullshit. If the o-line's the same crappy one from last week, it doesn't make a difference unless the WHOLE offense AND the qb had the will to play his best. Cooper terrible the last 2 games because he had NO competition. If you're a current starting qb like Cooper, you don't want to lose your starting job because next year you won't have teams wanting to take you. That's the reason why he tried his best to concentrate and make the plays as he did last game and he performed his best. He's looking behind his shoulders now that someone can ALWAYS take his place whether Trey plays for a few series, a few plays, or starting a quarter. Cooper WAS terrible for the 1st half in the last game against Washington. I'm pretty sure Mike told him during half time, improve else Trey will play the rest of the game. You saw how happy he was hugging Mike when he was starting able to make plays in the 3rd quarter by throwing to other receivers besides CeeDee and started scrambling within the pocket (similar to Mahomes)? That wasn't just the o-line. That was his will to make plays happen because it could have been Trey doing that by scrambling for some yards and possibly much more like trying to mimick Mahomes.
@@barrydavey7188 Tell that to Peyton who threw 28 picks in his rookie year and turned out to be the GOAT with 2 Sb rings. Tell that to Brady who threw 26 picks in his first 3 years with the Pats.
Y’all haven’t won a game at home all year 0-5, guaranteed firing of your coach when the season is over… yet act like your going to the superbowl 😂 bunch of clowns
Good Job Big Mike keep your SENSE OF HUMOR ,BROTHER .
Great job coaching mike considering all the injuries & super star 🌟 players out
Winning cures all.
Keep MIKE !

The previous 2 games why didn’t all of that exist then?
How did the offense look with 45 yards against eagles Cooper Rush will be a free agent he can take that Giants Job or Jets
The o line played better then expected with some injuries out.
what game were you watching?
Guyton sucks ass
@@hgriff14THE COWBOYS GAME! Which game were you watching? And do you UNDERSTAND what you’re watching when you’re “tuned in”!?

Jerry Jones is definitely gonna give McCarthy an extension after they finish 7-10 this season.
🧃🧃🧃🧃🧃🧃🧃🧃
The problem is NOT having the right qb with the right coach. Dak and Mike dont really go together just like Daniel Jones and BrianD.
The win was not his fault. Get him out.
So when is it a coach fault?
@briandaniel931 the loss against the eagles.

how bout you bring an offensive line that can block, dummy.
How about you go out there and block since you can do better! 🥱
LOL, he's gleeful that he can screw over the new guy with these wins...
Hate we couldn’t get it done with Coach! Ima miss u Big Mike!
