The reason why it doesn't affect us is because the object we see is still, but when it spins it triggers "horror and disgust".

Maybe when he said he started making it "for Marvin", what it actually means is that Marvin asked him to make it. I believe that the Petscop game is connected to the rebirthing process that Marvin does to the kids he kidnapped. Then Rainer learned about it while working on the game, which may be why the game was never finished

The lack of Paul is interesting. The game really does try to draw a connection between him and Care. What if Paul also has A,B and NLM states. A being an enthusiastic Paul we see in first videos, B being the swearing barely speaking Paul in later videos and NLM being Paul who doesnt play the game. Also him being gone quite often...
Remember the channel description changing to this: "Paul is OK. His work is bearing fruit, and there will be a public compilation video of his "Attempts". According to Petscop 11 Paul and Care and exactly the same age. In Petscop 14 there was a conversation between Care and her Mother. Care kept swearing at her (Paul swears a lot) and called her mother Jill. Paul says that conversation is based on one he had IRL. Care has an aunt named Jill. They might be cousins. That would explain how Paul could have "found" the game, since he is related to Care in a lot of ways.
NLM means “Nobody Loves Me” which is why in the game it represents a state of depression or suicidal intentions. I have a theory that Petscop this is an alternative universe that portrays Paul’s live. Hence the reference to his actual aunt and a real-life story and such
Casket 1 was on the table in the child library. Casket 2 was in the present. Casket 3 was painted over on the wall of the house. Casket 4 does not correspond with the number blocked off in episode 16. Strange.

Reposting my comment about the sound at 16:50. I boosted the audio and thought it might be reversed, so I reversed it but found that that only made revealed that the audio is in fact not reversed. It sounds like there's some kind of algorithmic filter causing certain segments to repeat discordantly. I slowed it down and ran it through some filters, and it isn't perfect but here's what I can kinda make out: 1. *Quietly*"*exhale*And now", 2. *indecipherable, phonetically*"Sphndish *breathing*", 3. *audio cut at beginning*"-ood because he doesn't like-", 4. *audio cut at beginning*"-zerf" (sounds like it could be the end of saying "loser"), 5. audio repeated from 3 "-because he doesn't like-", 6. really hard to decipher Guess A: "Fewer pizzas" Guess B: "View of bizzes" Guess C: "Flew up dishes" 7. lots of overlain audio repeated from 6 with new audio stuttering beneath, also difficult to decipher "Look how- look how I sing: CAW!" 8. overlain with more repeating audio from 6 and 7, best attempt to decipher "See what you look like." followed by what sounds like "visage" 9. sounds like nonsense sounds "Awww- seh-puah! I just listened to the clip in the video closer and I'm pretty sure one of the audio tracks is a kid saying "you did this" about 3 times again. In my head that coincides with marvin looking at the windmill where his "first crime" was. The other big thing I heard was the kid saying "see what you look like" that you pointed out, personally I think that's a reference to marvin pointing out care's deformities as stated in this episode.

These are things that were censored. The red thing came from the "gift with a sticker" the chalkboard, the stencils on the wall, and a little (I don't know what it is) that fits comfortably on a table. These arent inapropriate, but I bet Paul and family have seen them, so for the sake of privacy and security, they censored. That's the constant shock Paul faces when he sees these things, you'll notice the more personal things he sees the more he speculates on if this game relates to him, and because all of it was censored in post, he probably thought the first was a coincidence which didn't phase him. After more of these, Paul censored all of em.

my two cents is that care was adopted and had difficulty settling into the family and had some severe mental health issues. i don’t like referring to candace newmaker as she was a real person who lived a real life, but her name is used in this game and she was a young person subject to abuse and murdered in the name of ‘therapy’. paul is cares cousin, seeing as when care was frustrated she was calling out for jill. i think marvin was care’s dad who abused her, probably the one who kidnapped her and harmed her face, convinced her ‘nobody loves me’. i also suspect he was the one who killed other children, as they all went missing around the same age and during care’s ‘retrace steps’ passage in the previous video, lina is also talked about as a murdered/ missing child. rainer was care’s family friend who tried to help find her as he knew marvin and spoke of the horrible things he did to her. he also describes her as bravely coming home, implying he lived with her. this feeds into the theme of family and family secrets.
I agree, i just started watching this but i really think it has some kind of connection to Candace Newmaker but i really don't want to mention it and "walk all over it", she was a real person, a child, someone with there own dreams and life and what she went thru was disgusting,, i really want to go more deep into this and hear more theories about it

The game really does try to draw a connection between him and Care. What if Paul also has A,B and NLM states. A being an enthusiastic Paul we see in first videos, B being the swearing barely speaking Paul in later videos and NLM being Paul who doesnt play the game. Also him being gone quite often...

According to Petscop 11 Paul and Care and exactly the same age. In Petscop 14 there was a conversation between Care and her Mother. Care kept swearing at her (Paul swears a lot) and called her mother Jill. Paul says that conversation is based on one he had IRL. Care has an aunt named Jill. They might be cousins. That would explain how Paul could have "found" the game, since he is related to Care in a lot of ways.
NLM means “Nobody Loves Me” which is why in the game it represents a state of depression or suicidal intentions.
I have a theory that Petscop this is an alternative universe that portrays Paul’s live. Hence the reference to his actual aunt and a real-life story and such

I boosted the audio and thought it might be reversed, so I reversed it but found that that only made revealed that the audio is in fact not reversed. It sounds like there's some kind of algorithmic filter causing certain segments to repeat discordantly. I slowed it down and ran it through some filters, and it isn't perfect but here's what I can kinda make out:
1. *Quietly*"*exhale*And now",
2. *indecipherable, phonetically*"Sphndish *breathing*",
3. *audio cut at beginning*"-ood because he doesn't like-",
4. *audio cut at beginning*"-zerf" (sounds like it could be the end of saying "loser"),

I just listened to the clip in the video closer and I'm pretty sure one of the audio tracks is a kid saying "you did this" about 3 times again. In my head that coincides with marvin looking at the windmill where his "first crime" was. The other big thing I heard was the kid saying "see what you look like" that you pointed out, personally I think that's a reference to marvin pointing out care's deformities as stated in this episode.

These are things that were censored. The red thing came from the "gift with a sticker" the chalkboard, the stencils on the wall, and a little (I don't know what it is) that fits comfortably on a table. These arent inapropriate, but I bet Paul and family have seen them, so for the sake of privacy and security, they censored. That's the constant shock Paul faces when he sees these things, you'll notice the more personal things he sees the more he speculates on if this game relates to him, and because all of it was censored in post, he probably thought the first was a coincidence which didn't phase him. After more of these, Paul censored all of em.

my two cents is that care was adopted and had difficulty settling into the family and had some severe mental health issues. i don’t like referring to candace newmaker as she was a real person who lived a real life, but her name is used in this game and she was a young person subject to abuse and murdered in the name of ‘therapy’. paul is cares cousin, seeing as when care was frustrated she was calling out for jill. i think marvin was care’s dad who abused her, probably the one who kidnapped her and harmed her face, convinced her ‘nobody loves me’. i also suspect he was the one who killed other children, as they all went missing around the same age and during care’s ‘retrace steps’ passage in the previous video, lina is also talked about as a murdered/ missing child. rainer was care’s family friend who tried to help find her as he knew marvin and spoke of the horrible things he did to her. he also describes her as bravely coming home, implying he lived with her. this feeds into the theme of family and family secrets.
I agree, i just started watching this but i really think it has some kind of connection to Candace Newmaker but i really don't want to mention it and "walk all over it", she was a real person, a child, someone with there own dreams and life and what she went thru was disgusting,, i really want to go more deep into this and hear more theories about it

Those blocks represent parallels between rooms. Do you get it now? There's a screen in the dark room showing a landscape with the windmill. And in the Even Care room, there's a portrait depicting a landscape... with no windmill.
Remember Toneth's painting puzzle and the easel from Mike's file that got removed in new versions? I bet you have the whole picture now.
