Oh, thank you. I, too, needed to hear this today. I’ve had a big work problem that I just looked at through the eyes of love. I now see the problem person as a person struggling. How awful it must be for her.
I put my trust in the one who said; THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU, IN ME THAT YE MIGHT HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. JOHN 16:33 (KJV) This says it all to me; we are all broken vessels, and I find my solace in Him; and in Him alone! Thank you JESUS!
"It seems" they are living a great life. I bet they're not. Karma is real. Remember, you only know what they're willing to share with the world. You'd probably be shocked at what's actually occurring behind their closed doors.
"Seems" is the operative word. We only show the world what we choose to. Therefore their is not way of knowing what is really going in their minds and hearts. Assumptions is/are not a definitive outcome.
Mrs. Lopez, I think you're right...to an extent. I think many ppl do horrible things, and they seem to succeed in spite, or even because, of their horrible actions. While I do believe in Karma, I know that it's an incomplete and inconsistent law. I think we would all love Instant Karma. And, many of us would settle for an earthly type of eventual Karma (consequences to actions within this lifetime) I think it's self-evident that Karma doesn't deliver in this way (I really wish it did) As a Christian, I believe that every being in existence will one day have to give an account of their actions. We will stand before a perfect judge who cannot be persuaded, manipulated, or deceived. He will be the very incarnation of Love & Mercy. But, He will also be the soul of Truth. In His presence, there will be no "gray" area. We must either seek forgiveness and repent. Or, we must face whatever consequences arise as a result of our arrogance, selfishness, and pride. When I really start to think about it, I become more concerned with the state of my own heart rather than others. Being able to discern between what's right and wrong is not the same as judging. And, good will always be affronted by evil. I don't think forgiveness means you'll ever by "happy" about Injustice. I think forgiveness is about leaving the judging process to God. And, having faith that, in His wise and righteous (loving what is right & doing what is right) way He will eventually bring about what is good.
Hi Gary. I love your spirit. I had an experience with Our Creator and became a new creation in a blink of an eye. I'm nothing like who I used to be. He then lead me to know Him as my Father and My saviour Jesus. Not here to sell religion AS I don't do church. Have you ever experienced your "Universe" in this way?

I'm tired of writers teaching something that they know nothing about. If you're alive and teaching "recovery of betrayal" then you weren't betrayed you probably got cheated on but betrayal usually puts your life out of your hands and when ot happens You dont talk about it because you are grateful to be alive or you're dead. Instead speak on how to keep relationships.
I have great respect for Mr. Gary Zukav, but I disagree with some aspects at his teachings. "Trusting in the wisdom and compassion of the universe ( capital U)." When someone says "universe" they're usually referring to everything that exists within it. The universe is like a clock with many gears, a mechanized structure, something that functions, adapts, and continues to function regardless if I were experiencing a perfect existence, or if I were living a personal hell. Now, if you're assigning attributes of consciousness to this ambiguous term: "universe" then it appears you are implying God... but this blurs the line between creation (universe) and creator (God) I've seen that equation made with Jesus. Where God became flesh and lived among creation. Jesus' presence distinctly clashed with the surrounding universe. Mostly because He embodied the very qualities of love, truth, and compassion that you're asking me to associate with the universe. Another one of the statements I disagree with: "Only, Sometimes you will encounter experiences that seem unjust... they are not". As a Christian, my belief system hinges on the fact that Christ suffered an unjust death. In fact, it was so unjust that death had to release its grip. Of course, Jesus is an exception, but, life is filled with injustice. And, if there is no such thing as an unjust experience, then why is there a need for forgiveness? But, if you're saying that we should not look at life through the filter of what is just or unjust... but rather what can be learned and help us grow...then I see a wisdom in that advice. And, much else of what he said made a lot of sense. But, I'm reminded of Proverbs 14:12 *There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.* It doesn't have to be a literal death. It could be the death of a clear conscience, a relationship, or some other direction in life. We must be careful of putting too much faith in the wisdom of men.
I agree, if there is no such thing as an unjust situation, then why do we need to forgive anything? In my journey I keep coming across contradictions which makes it very difficult to believe in any one theory or belief. I have a list that I keep of these contradictions. As much as I want to believe in this, it really boils down to one persons theory. Therefore not something I would base my entire life upon. The world is filled with evil and I will never smile and thank the universe for it. That’s just wrong on every level. No one really knows what life is about. We may just be guinea pigs in a lab for extra-terrestrials for all we know. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think so. My question is: if god , or the universe is so mighty and all-knowing, then why are we created to learn lessons? Shouldn’t we be born with the knowledge instead of suffering from life’s miseries? What’s the point? Just born us perfect and get on with it. Why would god or universe create so much havoc and ugliness in the world just so we forgive someone or something that is considered justified? Doesn’t make sense.
All me, May I beg you the question, what is the wisdom you find in the lesson, not looking through the filter of just and unjust ? Are we to let the murderers, paedophiles and the rest of the offenders off the hook and lock the innocent? I believe, Justice is love! What Gary's teaching suggests is, that we need to look within us for peace, (in other words; in broken vessels) but Jesus says otherwise; only in Him that we will find peace! COME TO ME ALL YOU WHO ARE WEARY AND BURDNED, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. MATTHEW 11:28 NO VICTIM OF INJUSTICE WAS EVER MORE INNOCENT THAN THE SINLESS SON OF GOD; AND YET NO ONE EVER SUFFERED MORE AGONY THAN HE DID;JESUS CRUCIFIXION WAS THE GREATEST TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN!
