I don't think anybody really had the vaguest of ideas on how amazing and unique this would turn out, because layout doesn't really give away any of that.
yeah my next layout is different lol. This one was hard to work with cuz it's pretty vague.

Hey jam attack could you do a tutorial on how you do all the crazy ambient lighting in your levels? Also this layout looks awesome 😱
maybe I could make a short on it or something. It's usually a mix of blending overlays, and blending glow on the gameplay that's stronger near the light sources. Make sure it's all colored the same and tint every color of everything in that part to that same color.

one person said this looks like a 5*, I can say from playing it a lot it's a tiny bit easier than starlit realm
@@JamAttack after playing it this is imo a harder or an insane 8* at best, if you REALLY want it to be an ez demon you should buff some parts. Or maybe i just found it easier to sight read since i saw this video before playing, anyways extremely fun layout cant wait for deco and release.
@@Amexy-mr6lw my goal is to make an easy demon that tons of people try as a first demon, also layouts tend to be harder than decorated levels

This will be my next demon
Some of the jumps looked like you could make it through without jumping- a good idea is to playtest and indicate any jumps that people may not think are jumps.
Second- with this level your should try setting restrictions for yourself! I know working with restrictions is a big pain but at least start the deco process with something and it may help you come up with better ideas being a little restriced.
And always; keep up the good content. I lurk on every vid ;)
the gameplay will be closed off when decorating and I'll add indicators to the parts that need it. Also the deco will be simpler than cellar path cuz I don't wanna spend more than like 100-150 hours on this tbh

There is a bug when creating levels, sometimes the editor doesn’t match up with the actual level when you play it, and it will be uncompleteable even tho it’s possible in the editor. Dual portals change your borders. It’s hard to explain but I think that’s y

@@JamAttack hope so, definitely in my top 5 of “favouritr levels” the gameplay is just so good, with some good deco, def epic rating and/or weekly
Especially the spider in the dual, the sync is unbelievable
