Awesome video! In one of my first ever backpacking trips (over 30 years ago), I did Iceline to Little Yoho, over to Twin Falls and out. I like your route more!!! Thinking your path may be one to try with my daughter this summer. May I ask how you made your way back to the Takakkaw Falls parking lot from Emerald Lake? Many thanx. (Sidebar: We are the same vintage. I have been away from backpacking for ~ 25 years, getting back into it now in my retirement. I have now watched all of your videos and, without exception, they are amazing. So much goodness. Many thanx.)

I neglected to mention that in my video ... I've just taken care of that in the video description ... my wife met me for lunch on the patio at Emerald Lake Lodge (we'd arranged to meet there at 1:30 that afternoon) and then she gave me a ride back to my car which I'd parked at the Takakkaw Falls parking lot. So, you'll need a vehicle at each end. Or, exit down from Yoho Lake to the Whiskey Jack Hostel on the Yoho Valley Road and then walk 1km back to the parking lot near Takakkaw Falls. That patio at Emerald Lake Lodge is mighty nice on a warm sunny day though and a great way to end a hike. Thanks for "hiking along with me", Dan.

Great content and stunning vista's that are very familiar from our own hikes!
Question, do you use the oximeter for measuring O2 saturation at elevation?

I like to pull it out on a steep uphill stretch to see what my numbers are like. I'm actually more interested in what my pulse rate is when I'm climbing. It's not very big and comes in its own little case which I stick into my waistbelt pocket for easy access. I'm sure a smartwatch would have the same function but I don't like wearing a watch. Thanks for "hiking" with me!

Hey Rita! It was nice to meet you guys and have a good chat. What a beautiful day that was. Really enjoyed my lunch stop atop the falls, such a great view.

There’s only one twin that I saw.
