This is 100%! Even the off grid part. Although I don't exactly live off grid, I am for the most part self sufficient and I live in a shed that I turned into my tiny home. I told a friend 2 years ago about my living space and before I could even talk about all the cool things I could do out here, he immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was trying to scam him. It really hurt my feelings at the time because I thought we were sharing life stories. Well he recently came back around for whatever reason with a changed perspective. He knows 100% that I have no bad intentions and that he had to get past his own mistrust to see others more clearly.
Just stay true to yourself and try not to let anyone get you down especially if they are projecting thier own issues on you.

This reading gave me insight as to why my person comes in and then backs out for extended periods of time. A lot is going on with them. The culture of self depreciating humor we have today, and making memes of daily struggles NEVER attracted me or made sense to me. And I refuse to force myself to be okay with it by being around people who speak and think like that, further enabling the victim mindset. While we should hold space for our shortcomings and love ourselves through the process, the point is to get through it. Not just accept the current miserable reality as the end all be all.
We can't give too much credibility to the minority. You spend a lot of time on your readings and go into so much detail. Just forget about them.
