How many weeks does it take anacona to get to adult weight of 6-6.5lbs? What age do hens start laying eggs?

Thanks for watching. Goats are very adaptable, you should have no issues with the breeds that you like.

Dear Sir, Once again a great video. I had heard of this breed, but did not its sterling characteristics. For subjective reasons, I am not a great fan of Muscovy ducks. I confess I am suspicious of any monoculture. It has always seemed to me that there should be ducks of Western origin which we should promote, and not favour Muscovies overly much. The Anconas, as you describe them, seem to be a breed of duck to receive widespread support. But, here, I am not advocating that one breed dominate, but, rather different breeds be raised for different markets and different tastes. For example, I would like to see the small Call duck raised as a small meat bird. At present, this breed is raised largely as a show bird with attendant limitations. I would like to see breeders take the time to raise vigorous Call ducks as meat birds for a potential market of people who would buy a small duck for meat. Just a thought. Sorry for straying. In conclusion, you have produced yet again another fine video : very informative and very enjoyable as always. Sincerely, Larry Clarence Lewis, Ontario, Canada.
