I tried to fry my nian gao gifted to me during the cny but it went so, so, so soft that i could not pick up from the medium hot pan.
What should i do as i still have the more of this nian gao? Tq for your response 😊

This type of nian gao can't be fried directly on pan! 😄 If you want to fry it you may need to dip in some batter before you fry. Normally the easiest way is to just steam it on steamer greaseproof paper and coat with fresh desiccated coconut.
