Thank you to propose this new technique, which will work in certain stocks, but I am sure this technique will not work in the below scenarios or type of stocks ,,,
1. Stocks which have very very less volatility,,, means stocks which are not moving up or down more than 10 % or 15% in a year ,,, for example ITC, in this stock your theory will completely fail, as this stock has not moved more than 25% in last 5 years ,,, so your invested amount will never be up by 25% ,,,
2. Second scenario is when the stock is in Uptrend but very slow Uptrend, in that case also your theory will not work, because you will always buy at the high price of GTT, but because of averaging out at trigger price will make your total amount greater than buy price at some point, but it will never be more than 25 %,,,

I went through your excel sheet and am trying to modify it for the NLC india stock you hav recently mentioned in your blog. However, when I tried to calculated the rate of return for the sample calculation in your excel sheet, I only got a 1% return.
So, the concept of 25% returns are rendered moot due to the time taken for averaging out.
In first glance, it looks like a 25% return over investment, but thats superficial compared to the actual rate of return.
You can shed some light on that fact.

Maheshji, This is a risky strategy. Pudumjee Paper price recovered because Nirmala Sitaraman announced some tax cuts. Or else it could have continued down. Many shares have gone to zero. If we had invested in them then our investment would have gone to zero. The assumption in this strategy is share which falls will rise sooner or later and provide an opportunity to exit with 25% profit above the average price.
