Good Insight , asked a quetion about your other vidoe with regards to the duration of the process but think it might have been missed by you, How long does it take for the documents verification of documents after the submission on the needed documents to the embassay
In our case, there wasn't any document verification, so I can't really tell how long that takes, but the entire process for us, from the visa interview until she got the visa, was 3 months.
The document verification process takes a minimum of eight months from the day you submitted your documents
If my wife is living in Germany with a student visa, but we have lots of money in our savings account, is that enough proof of financial stability?
They don't accept bank savings. Your wife will need to show a payslip or in this case ask the foreigners office to allow her to open a blocked account to support the application.

What if as a student, I already have an existing blocked account. Can I use that as proof of funds in addition to the employment contract?
I think that should work. However, as I said, the rent factor is still critical. If you combine both, and let's say you have 1900 and you are paying rent for 1400 or more, the remaining might still not be enough.
