There is more than one type of counseling. We often think of it as "rescue" therapy, when we're really really struggling and have no other option. But there's also preventative, where you are currently functioning well but you know that some things could easily trigger you into a hard space. This helps you work on things while you're still functioning ok, to prevent you from getting triggered as hard into a really hard time. I'm still learning this.

I'm exactly the same when it comes to colors! I've always been drawn to calming neutral colors. When you love neutral color palettes, decorating your home is so much easier. I know whatever I buy will never clash with what I already have. I find it absolutely perfect for our home.

You officially touched on all my Autism traits in this video and the EXACT thought process I have when answering the same questions. Why do I like neutral colors? Because my eyes can't handle bright colors. Why do I not wear makeup? Because my sensory issues cannot stand the feeling of having anything on my skin! Love you hear other people think the same way!

Actually three years is ideal between any kind of birth. Not saying it’s bad otherwise but three is optimal for the replenishing of the mothers minerals etc and for the appropriate time given to the development of the baby/toddler

I had very traumatic first delivery. 10 minutes before my daughter was born, i looked through the window of the hospital, it was snowing, and i felt peace. I thought, that's it, I'm going to die, but it's okay. I'm okay. With my boy, again, all natural, it was horrible, but quicker, just three hour of labor. Now, I'm expecting my third, and I'm so scared 😭 sorry for the long post. All the best ♥️

I somehow found you on UA-cam. I am struggling alot with motherhood and enjoying the little things, as well as my relationship with the Lord. Watching you or even having your channel on in the background during the day brings me more peace than you could ever know. Thank you so much. You have brought my relationship with the Lord closer. I pray to him for patience and when I watch your videos I get that and am able to be present with my three babies.

Traveling with kids is just awesome!!! Even when they are really little because even though they won't remember, you will! And it will be a part of them, of their personality and experiences! We traveled as a family for the first time when our oldest was 6 months old and we never stop doing it, now with 4 kids 8 and under and expecting #5! It's truly a blessing! Try it and you'll love it ;)

I would never chastise you for only wearing/decorating in neutral colors; if that’s what you like than you be you. Just as a note though you will probably find as the kids grow older they often find their own style which quite often will be very different than your style. You might have to get used to having young ones who insist on wearing lime green, bright neon pink and day glow purple. To this day my daughters won’t wear pastel’s because that is what I dressed them in growing up as well as how I decorated their rooms, lol!

I loooove trift haul/ furniture shopping and reno/interior design/gardening and even decluttering videos. So if you continue youtubing, you can make these sort of videos for me 😀
I am searching inspiration what to do with my home.
And you find so awsome stuff from trift stores, in Estonia we have very boring shops.
I totally get that you do not want to vlog your children so much - I do not have social media, even if I had I still would not post them (so strangers do not know how cute they are 😀).

Have you played Tsuro? It's a very simple game because it doesn't require reading. But it does involve some strategy. Also it can be played with up to 8 people. The game box says age 8+ but it seems like younger kids could probably understand it.

"Don't you find all beige boring" Ah, yes, random stranger, you're right, I do find beige boring, which is why I surround myself with that colour in my home and clothing style.
Seriously doubt that people really question this. They just want to get their own opinion in about how you're somehow boring or wrong, and it's rude imo.
I love maximalist, eclectic styles with lots of bold colours in my own home and also with the clothes I choose to wear, and I think your neutral style is so beautiful, calming, serene, I seriously love it. And even if I didn't, well, I can do it differently in my own life so why even care? Why comment on someone's else's likes and dislikes in a rude way?
If you don't like all neutrals, great, don't do it in your own spaces then. I don't do it in my spaces and I think yours fits you so well and it makes me happy to see when you share great thrift finds that you're excited about, or your reno updates.
Sorry, this turned into a bit of a rant, but I really don't like this tendency online that we feel entitled to insert our opinion on everything creators share online even their own personal tastes.

i personally completely align with you "aesthetic" and the way you style yourself amd your home. I find bright colors too chaotic and prefer more muted tones. this prefference really differentiated me from my family and i felt really isolated. when i came across your channel it really lit a spark in my heart because i stopped feeling so alone. it has been really good to know that is okay to like different things and being different from my family is not a bad thing.

same! I strive to have a very neutral home, my partner wants his office very dark, so I can't wait for when we can get a big appartment, were he can have a dark office, I will have a cute and brighr art/office room, and the rest of the appartment is gonna be very neutral hahah my room is gonna be bright because it really inspires me to paint and I love painting colorful art, but the rest of the apartment would be too much

My first baby was a csection and I have had two successful vaginal births since. I got pregnant with my 2nd and 3rd at 13 months postpartum. I am a nursing student now and when I saw the recommendation for a successful vbac was to wait 18 months to conceive I was shocked 😅 seeing as my kids were both born 22 months after their previous sibling. I also completely agree with you. I do not know if I will ever feel "done" having children. I don't think I love anything more than giving birth and experiencing those first days of a newborn, the indescribable feeling of being your babies life line and whole world ultimately.

Totally not in the same vein as your content but I watched emma chamberlain's podcast talking about a youtuber's life span and how having UA-cam as a career is unsustainable because of how demanding it can be. Also that vloggers/youtubers don't last on this platform longer than 2/3 years. I don't have the same amount of growth by any means but I'm also a youtuber and I can see how much work and effort goes into making a youtube video compared to making a tiktok or posting on Instagram. Even though it's sad to see my favorite UA-camrs leave, I'm so understanding now.

Nerves can continue to regenerate for up to 2 years. Re-gaining feeling in your C-section scar is not impossible!

Watching Delilah fold laundry while I’m doing laundry, makes me feel like I have a friend by my side. I have 2 kids so far and I thought I was done but now I’m just feeling very nostalgic to think no more kids for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well said Delilah about colour choices, I had a difficult labour with my 4th baby, i had 3 natural deliveries with just gas and air but with my 4th son i was induced a week early and everything was progressing and they thought i was about to deliver when my baby’s heart rate dropped and i had to be rushed into an emergency c-section and when my son was delivered i was haemorrhaging and lost 3litres of blood i had torn my womb, i nearly had to have a hysterectomy but luckily they managed to stop the bleeding a stitch me up but it took at least 6months recovering i was poorly but my son is perfect and so glad we are living where we could of both died. Lots of love to you and your gorgeous children. 💕

My C-section scar is still numb after 4 years and I’ve just gotten used to that feeling of it being that way. I’m getting induced on Sunday with my 2nd baby and am hoping for a VBAC! I’m hoping and praying that I can achieve a vaginal birth, and keep watching your videos of Eloise and Theo being born to help me prepare for something like that ☺️

I'm glad you had peace after your birth. But It's totally ok to feel comfort in the lord and seek counseling, and it's a beneficial tool to use in addition to your relationship with God.

VBACs are becoming so much more popular and talked about. I’m sure because you’re young and if you give your body time, you could do it. 💗

Hi Delilla, it is so thrilled when I watched this video of yours. Actually I have followed you since 3 years ago, the moment of my first pregnancy. But just recently I started to watch more of your videos. I think I have watched definitely over half part of your channel. 😂Sometimes, just like this one, it hit me. And I felt so similar as you do, so emotional as well. So grateful there are person like you so sharing and hardworking. It encourages so much on me. I am a mom of two and I am looking after them and homeschooling and doing home makeover. But of course I have so much to catch on compared with you and other great UA-camr moms. Just want to tell it is so encouraging and comforting thing to view your channel in my life. 😊

We’ve done a few weeks in Europe with kids. Italy, France then Switzerland. It was amazing! I had an almost 4 year old and a 22 month old. The pace is a little slower and we had more down days. We also flew from Australia so the flights are soooo long. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Hey I had a very very traumatic 1st pregnancy if I had the opportunity I would have loved to have gone through a process with a professional. I'm 30 weeks pregnant currently and every time I go to the Dr I get tens, if there's anything like heart burn or cramps I get stressed out and scared... I only realised how traumatic it was the moment I got pregnant... Praying for you that God will make sure the your next little one comes with no trauma no placenta previa or vasa previa or even placenta agrita. May your mom journey be blessed 💕 Marista here

Does she have friends? I can't imagine, that she can find time for a friend. I don't have friends myself. To be honest because I never really feel connected to someone. And I never have time to just spend it with someone "for nothing" 🤷🏻‍♀️

You’re lucky you’re numb. After my 1st emergency c section I had so much nerve pain for over 4 years until my 2nd emergency c section I think helped correct whatever they did wrong lol.

Never noticed you didn’t wear makeup, u have beautiful skin. I’m someone who doesn’t wear any makeup at all I just focus more on my skincare which makes me feel great!

I am the same. I just cannot stand makeup, I hate how it feels on my face. I have a pretty tricky skin, having PCOS with high levels of male hormones and had to learn alot when it came to skincare, diet&lifestyle to even make it look ok. I'd rather spend my money&time on skincare and be able to just feel great and confident without makeup.

I feel like one of the most damaging mindsets that comes out of Christianity is the idea that going to therapy/counseling is a sign of weakness in your faith. It would have been really awesome to hear you acknowledge that receiving help for mental health doesn't make you any less close to god verse perpetuating the idea that getting help means you're not as strong in your faith. I strongly assume this wasn't your intention and Im happy to hear you're doing well but this is a perspective that I unfortunately was taught in Christianity growing up because of hearing things like what you shared in this video.
