In all of my limited research, I found only one genuine attempt to develop an alternative model to the modern banking system, described as Time-Counter-Money-Loan, in the book 'Man and money' by Sheikh Mahmud Ahmed . I found Dr Israr's tanzeem propagating the merits of this system back in the day. Apart from this, I agree that Islamic banking as we see today is just a change of label.

Part 1 First, see what is sood (interest).. same three lights, yellow, red, white (individual, social and common obedience or interest). 1st looking at Yellow light which is individual interest encourages people to make them move. Like, my interest is some one else's business or vice versa so here no issue dealing with sood. 2nd, red light (social obedience) that makes you right move. In other words you need to work out creditability, job, business, skill so make sure if someone took a loan, he supposed to have ability to pay back otherwise should denied but people use influence to get loan or out of proper terms etc. 3rd white light (it is charge or power what people like from their side) so here sood got issue because if people has religious beliefs or frustration then sood is not for them but at the same time individual obedience or interest do allow you to help out each other as long as you cover up social interest means working for eligibility or some how to provide relief in case some thing unusual happens.

In all of my limited research, I found only one genuine attempt to develop an alternative model to the modern banking system, described as Time-Counter-Money-Loan, in the book 'Man and money' by Sheikh Mahmud Ahmed . I found Dr Israr's tanzeem propagating the merits of this system back in the day. Apart from this, I agree that Islamic banking as we see today is just a change of label.

In first step classify Bank loans in 2 category 1) Corporate loans for industrial/ trade activities 2) loans for Self expenditure like, Purchase of home, Children Education and welfare and more. For 2nd category it's strictly prohibited ( Riba) or interest. Alternative is those have Extra MUST ( Either by Government Force) given to poor. It's an order in Quran. Poverty can be eliminated in shortest possible time and people come out for Below poverty levels. Majority problems will be solved at 1st stage. A sincere government is Basic necessity for this purpose

Islam mean > submission < to God
( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the > MUSLIM < and the Non-Muslims but total > submission < to God.)
Question: How Can Muslim And the Non-Muslim > submit < to the God?
Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work.

I agree that most of the islamic or so called islamic political parties don't talk about the economic system of islam. However there is one global islamic political party with the name of Hizb ut-Tahrir which does talk about not just economy but all the other aspects which are required to run an islamic society be it education, health, contracts, banks etc

Part 1
First, see what is sood (interest).. same three lights, yellow, red, white (individual, social and common obedience or interest). 1st looking at Yellow light which is individual interest encourages people to make them move. Like, my interest is some one else's business or vice versa so here no issue dealing with sood. 2nd, red light (social obedience) that makes you right move. In other words you need to work out creditability, job, business, skill so make sure if someone took a loan, he supposed to have ability to pay back otherwise should denied but people use influence to get loan or out of proper terms etc. 3rd white light (it is charge or power what people like from their side) so here sood got issue because if people has religious beliefs or frustration then sood is not for them but at the same time individual obedience or interest do allow you to help out each other as long as you cover up social interest means working for eligibility or some how to provide relief in case some thing unusual happens.
But now due to their efforts Shariah Court gave decision against Interest.
