I always found the puzzles in this dungeon pretty fun. Especially since they give you an out if you just want to brute force with only a few clues rather than make them all be forced (I had a lot of trouble with the three trampoline cannon ball puzzle as a kid and didn't realize the Paratroopa was following my movement).

(10:00) Oh, you didn't jump into the little gap behind the boxes at 8:13. I believe there's a flower to obtain there. (12:08) Seems the Switch version changed the names of the people giving the hints. (12:39) I remember this three-dimensional maze from the SNES version. I remember having fun figuring it out, and that it wasn't too difficult for me.

There's a hidden flower in the room with pink mice going up and down the stairs, right before the puzzle rooms. It's in the hole behind the boxes with the "J" on them! Also in the room right before where you get the Safety Badge(Not the Safety Ring), if you kill the Dry Bones and go behind him and then left, there's a hidden door that leads to a frog coin!

Fall apart, and then put it all together via revive or regenerate! They never die unless you use magic attacks or (in Mario series) power-ups like Raccoon and Cape. 8:50 Enigmax: "Group up"? Yeah, right. Can we go home yet? I'm hungry. Me: Uhhh! You're in the pirate ship. There's plenty of foods down below the deck, you flying green pig. 9:27 Wassat little alley rat! Try to run away again? I don't think so! Mario! Hammer time on him!
Ah, the puzzle I solved but couldn't solve as a kid. Back in the day I got to this portion at the tender age of 8, and I solved like 4/6 of the puzzles. I thought to myself, "I think the password is Pearls." But due to the way the text and the block inputs were, I thought I'd entered it and my educated guess was wrong, so not knowing what to do I begged my mom to buy me the strategy guide. She relented, and I open the guide and... it turns out I was just a dumb kid and didn't use the password entry blocks right.
I even told him about that hahahahahaha I remembered from his original run yeah that's a VERY WELL-HIDDEN one. Another is in a room behind a Dry Bones guarding a hidden passage. Think it's a frog coin.
As soon as he got to that room, I was thinking "if I know game design, surely there is something behind those crates" and was surprised he didn't check.
Time for a pirate rated time! Arrr...... 0:47 - The Reacher reminds me of a couple of enemies from the Dragon Quest series. 1:07 - 1:19 - Reacher: I'll (Man) tell you somethin' (Man) I think you'll understand... When I (Man) say that somethin'... I want to hold your hand! *I wonder if anyone will get the "man" reference* ???

Thunderbolt is soooo good in this dungeon. You can almost clear the screen for 2 FP (or 1 FP with the flower ring!)

Technically you can call any character in final fsntasy vi Mario, so Mario can fight ultros!
