Thank you so much for these vids. My ol' man got me interested in O scale by simply showing me an engine. It was impressed with the girth alone, but that third rail wants for me and the retail two-rail seems toy-like. Because of your I'm going to really give this a go - one day. Thank you.
Thank you.....Just do what I did, take alittle from me, and some from everyone else and then apply your own style to it and you will have one awesome layout. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
Thanks so much for this video. I recently bought the same Micro-Mark insertion plier you are using, but it came with zero instructions on how to use it, so I was trying to drive the spikes straight down, which was completely wrong. As soon as I angled the spike everything worked perfectly. One question, though: Are your tie plates metal or plastic, and where do you get them?
OUTSTANDING! As Jim Harper taught me, "track is a model too..."
Thanks. After watching this video I'm sold on the joint bars and tie plates as they makes the track much more realistic. Good Job.
Thank you!
Great video exactly what I was looking for.

That's great to hear. The tie plates are plastic and I get mine from Right O Way industries.
