- "Who The Feck Is Larry?"
I'm glad you asked! Larry Botchco is the poor sole that just had his wife Peggy (A nurse at The Medford Hospital) throw him out!
Just a matter of hours before the bombs fell he was driving to the hospital to beg his wife to take him back. Only to discover that she had left with the doctor on call to have dinner.
Larry then discoveres the doctor, one Doctor Steven Wifenator has a house just up the road near Greentop. Nurse Jackie at the front desk tells Larry that Dr. Wifenator is a hudge snake in the grass and that the Doc's house is the largest house right across from Greentop Nursery.
Larry being a timid man of lesser means could think of only one thing drive to doc's house and confront them on they're way back to the hospital from this "dinner break"!
Then it happens, mabey it was love, mabey it was jealousy, mabey it was the second bottle whiskey but Larry decides "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" After waiting now 20 mins behind the house for his wife and "The Snake" to emerge from the house Larry unloads the steamer trunk from his car he has been living out of for the last 3 days and grabs his .44 mag!
Larry now out of his car walks quietly tword the jerks house. From the back bedroom window Larry can hear his Peg laughing! Laughing the way she did 22 years ago, when they met at that dog park near the Beantown Brewery.
He thought for a moment to storm the front door and send that doctor to The All Maker! As he approached the front door he thought to himself "This isn't right Larry, your better than that! If Peg is happy, then let her be happy! If this Doc Wifenator is as big a snake as Nurse Jackie says, then Peg will beg him to come home and take him back!"
As poor Larry walked back to his car he hears the distinct sound of cracking rock... (scene)

Outpost Larry is comprised of approximately 90% #Reclaimed or #Repurposed Pieces. One of the main challenges with this build was:
All But Approximately 25 Pieces Were Placed By Hand, Do To The Lack Of SNAP POINTS! It was quite the #challenge ! The #Build turned out pretty good as a hole.
I original planned on doing a Falling Rock Recreation (ref Frank Lloyd Wright) here but Paul at Skooled Zone posted his #Fallout76 version the same day I layed my foundation. Out of #Respect I chose to hold off, Paul's version was amazing by the way.

Yeah, if I only had the 'make static' option of QwaPa I'd be fine. It certainly helps in decorating, that's for sure. (Or in this case Goofing Around!)
Impressive build. What I really liked about was how you gain inspiration from real world people and places, aswell as giving credit where credit is due.

It was great mate the settler at the end loves living on the edge I definitely wouldn't be stood that close haha I liked the brick interior walls the drive and the use of the rock in the storage area for the computer over all great build mate looking forward to your next one 👍

Thanks Helene! Yeah I had to edit 5 hours of video to get the 9 mins in the begining. The down side with QwaPA is entering and exiting out of the build menu. It's great if it's edited but a pain to watch.
What I wanted was a whole cliff side village like something out of South America in the Slums District. There is a name for it, but I forget.
Glad you liked the walkway, that took the least amount of time, except for right where it goes up into the build above the water entrance to the closed cell.

Between your fallout builds and VGs cooking, I’m considering hangin up my YT hat. Sheesh. You did an amazing job of repurposing the pieces here. Your creativity is astounding, truly an artists eye. Never considered anything like it, and now I don’t have to. Just wow. Congrats man, you should be proud!
I'm flattered J, but your one of the reasons I kept building. Perhaps you might just change your approach. "Think outside the the box" so to speak!?
You are an amazing builder your ideas are top notch! Your vault build and your Coastal Cottage build and many others are top fabulous. Mabey with that crashing issue it messed with you or you were thinking about it just like Truflat but don't be discouraged.
If I were you I'd start over those mods USO and STC probably jacked up your save. Like Sar has many different builders. For every build I do I save the build and delete all saves leading up except that final or previous tour video. I have one dedicated save that has all my gear/scrap etc and start over. I already have a toon sat aside for when I retire Bobby.
I felt the same way after Werty Perty, Jug and NastyBonz3D btw. As Werty told me he's not better than me I just have a different style. I just have less experience and haven't seen as much. I Will Get Better!!🤔😊😏🙏🏆
I'm very impressed by your tendancy toward reusing items from the area. Seems to really enhance the build, while on paper it may seem like a handicap. Another wonderful example here, Adama. Thumbs up!
Thank you Otto! Having no snap points was a pain but I knew that going in and kind of the reason I took this self challenge on.
My favorite thing was the custom furniture! My dad used to make his own designs in RL and sell them back in the 80s and 90s. After he quit the lumber yard job, it got to expensive for the materials. He got most of his supplies for free only had to pay for screws and glue. Most of that he kept on hand anyway. He would charge anywhere from $300 to $800 for cabinets and shelves and pay mabey $50 for materials. Those were the days..😊

Oh yeah, the customs shine. Bathrooms can be tedious but adding a twist to your tub probably alleviates that. That's cool about your Dad. Sounds like a clever gentleman.

I was nervous again, I'm mad at my self for repeating curtain things. I rerecorded several times but some still got threw. I think that's part of the reason I dislike long videos, I forget to say what I want to say and repeat comfortable phrases.🤔😅

This is all done on My PS4 Slim 1TB, If it was on PC I could remake this into a *proper* settlement.😁😉
As far as the bread box I think it could better be explained by the QwaPA Legend Werty Perty. His builds were light years beyond most people and even better than alot of pc builders. Mod Authors such as Tim Timman the creator of QwaPA, STC (Scrap The Commenwealth) and several others would make Mods just for him!😮
Some of the mods he used are no longer sanctioned by Sony because of coding.

Finally i managed to watch this. I realy get this Fallout New Vegas vibe, it is amazing to see this sinkhole used like this. And the Motorcycles. 💗_💗 great usage of the parts. And i like the hat on flamingos etc. Simply great. 👍

I'm slowly adding more and more to the bikes did them side by side for comparison. Although, I still love the first and second one from my JP Build and The T-60 from Paladin's Retreat.😁

The whole build in a pit vibe is very cool and adds rich visual interest. I can see the NV similarity and I haven't played the game. Was the garage existing or added? I'll have to watch the Sar vid on how Bethesda design of walkway train of thought thing. Always cool to climb in their heads. VG did squeal when the Flamingo's made an appearance. To bad you couldn't get light's on that cliff face would have looked great at night :)))
All from scratch, I made the garage first. I guess that would be one downside for me putting in the time stamp for people to skip the Let's Build Portion. Lol
When you say "cliff face" do you mean under the crane? I did think of doing it like the crane in My Egret build but I wanted it to be different and a little more atmospheric. But it did look a bit plain I did notice that. I really did want it to be more like Megaton but as I did mention the NPC don't path any added items. They were randomly teleporting around as I slept and waited, hents the lady I tried to knock in the water, she was trapped but I left her for the visual image.

Because I think this is the only crater that is not irradiated.
(The one in the glowing sea is, obviously, the one in Cambride is, the one near the train station in the city is ... They are all irradiated!)
