What an aww experience! I’ve always wanted to see the glow worms! They look so magical! The strings look like little fairy strings. Really enjoyed this one!
I've been wanting to put this one together for ages, just never had the time to get there. But loved that I have it together now. The Glow worms are just amazing and can't believe there are only a few places in the world you can see them... well worth the trip for sure. So glad you liked this one !
I really have to try to be down there at dusk one of these days to photograph/film the glow worms! I've been wanting to do that for years, but you've motivated me to find some time soon to do it!
Too funny, 20 years in Brisbane and always been in the back of my mind to do it. Matts sister lives nearby and did it this year, got me motivated and I was there about 3 days later HAHA. I have seen the other ones at Tamborine in the man made cave, that was still pretty good, especially when you can see it during the day..... But Natural Bridge was unbelievable. Biggest tip would be to before sunset and find them on the path too....But stay away from the cave until after7pm - The tour groups are going through!
Another place we would love to visit 😁 the waterfall is very unique. I also thought the trails in this park were so pretty and well maintained. I think the highlight would be seeing the glow worms. In the states we see lightning bugs in the summer, but I think the glow worms would be a whole new experience!
This trail is very popular, easy to navigate and well maintained .. Even Skylar can wear sandals 😜. Glow worms are in limited places in Australia and New Zealand ... I suposevthey are similar to fireflys and lightening bugs but not sure in the difference. But it's definitely a highlight to see them, especially when you get to caves with millions of them

Hey Phil...I would love to see some of your footage of the Glow worms. Sure to be great but would you do it from natural bridge, or try your luck at other areas? Have you ever seen them before?
Sorry for the missed message, Been travelling and seem to go to spam ( l think with the link). But I have an aussie page on Bioluminescence that posts about this cave all the time? Is it a long hike to get there? I would love to see it in person one day! Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you post photo's of the glow instead of video - I haven't worked out how to do the video yet, so I did the same. :)
@@AquariusTraveller hi Chris, I'm travelling atm too :) . Not a long walk to Newnes glow worm cave only about 1km in from memory. Yes my vid featured a combo of long exposure pics with some video I shot in the cave. Virtually impossible to video glow worms, need long exposure camera on tripod then you can link multiple shots to show movement in timelapse.
I found it so hard to video and yes, needs more of a specific setup to time lapse or video something like this. Thanks for the info though...Will keep it in mind when I'm down that way 👍👍 Good luck with your current travels...looking forward to your next additions 😁
