Superior Threads is a thread company, established in 1998 by Heather & Bob Purcell in St. George, Utah. To Bob, Superior Threads means "success" and seeing what people do with the Superior Threads thread brings him a lot of happiness. To Heather, Superior Threads means "I'm going to have a good experience whatever I do" and as a quilter she loves having all the choices and high quality thread.

I have tried to ask what became of him and do not get any answer. Did he die? Get Alzheimer’s? Fade away to a retirement island in the Bahamas? Inquiring minds want to know.

I live in western Canada, where Superior isn't sold so much...but I have favourite distributors, and I buy it when I can -- at shows or online. I LOVE King Tut for my art quilts, and I love MasterPiece and So Fine for piecing.

will there be any videos posted that are more up to date? I am interested in thread, thread breaking, cone vs spool, different types of machines and their interaction with needles and thread (both straight stitch machines and embroidery machines as well as sergers). Please? I would like to know more about superior thread. I didn't even know you had needles?
