Pio Spotlight: Andrew Baum (Track & Field/Football) How Karate As a Kid Prepared Him For Dual-Sports

Lewis & Clark College sophomore track & field (thrower)/football (linebacker) Andrew Baum attributes his ability to excel at multiple sports in college in part because of doing karate as a kid. He explains how the ability to repeat the same motion over and over again has helped him as a thrower and he also learned balance which helps in track and football. He also discusses balancing both sports and the mindset he has during meets for throwing events.
