    Great stuff! Who knew all the advantages to Amazon sellers hiding in Keepa? Thanks very much Jimmy.

    what app/extension are you using to calculate ROI in 13:36 (Ol' Roy dog treats)? It looks like "Seller Assistant," but the layout looks different. And how is the ROI calculated in this extension given a $21.35 sale price and a $11.48 sourcing price? (I'm guessing the extension takes into account fees?)

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  6 днів тому

      RevSeller :-) and yes it does take into account all the fees. I also like ASINZen or SellerAmp as 2 good options as well

    Thanks for the great training Jimmy. I can find lot of products that have good Keepa graphs using the training. Is there a way to help find products that have good Keep graphs and also can make a profit. Do you just need to stumble upon those products? Is there a way to find the products that can make you a profit.

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому

      Unfortunately you can't do both with Keepa and profitability. You can find items that are profitable and then check the Keepa graphs or you can find good Keepa charts and try to get it profitably. Using good parameters with Keepa will help you to find more products that are good though.

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому

      It depends, play around with it. I want to see a minimum of 5 per month usually but it all depends on the competition. Plus some really great listings have no sales rank for some reason and therefore no sales rank drops so don't ignore those oddities

  • @lucy-annvacher4874

    Do you err on the side of offer numbers nearer 10? Only because you said 3 sellers may be too low.

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому

      This was just for an example - I've gotten on listings with 1 other seller and listings with 40 other sellers. So play around with the numbers to see what different results pull up for you

    Thank you so much sir, it was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. Sir for OA is it not be better to check the product wether Amazon allow us to sell the product. Some time we find profitable products but when we are going to me too it then on that position Amazon doesn't allow us to sell and we lose our invested time.
    Thanks in advance

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому

      Yes you definitely need to make sure you're not restricted in the product, but for this video I didn't get into that since it's fairly simple with RevSeller or ASINZen to check that information on the product page

    How can you tell how many times a product sells per month?

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому +1

      You can’t tell 100% - however when using Keepa you can get great ideas as to the minimum amount of sales per month. Really you’re looking more for the consistency of sales so you can know it’s a product worth testing. Then as you begin to sell your products you can scale up with your actual sales data using Replen Dashboard or another tool

    • @AskJimmySmith

      You can find it at retail prices and still make a profit. Not every item. But tens of thousands of items are out there that you can buy retail and flip to Amazon profitably

    @ 7 minutes in I can see icons/links on the far left that take you to the product page on Amazon, etc. I can't find those options in my Keepa settings. How do I get those? Is it a separate add on to Keepa?

    is amazon accept walmart invoices?

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому

      Yes they will accept them if the products are Sold & Shipped by Walmart. They will not accept receipts that are Sold by a Third Party Seller and Shipped by Walmart. Sometimes Amazon will give you pushback on any Walmart receipt though as many of their case support specialists just automatically deny claims. I recommend working with Jeff Schick at jeffschick.com to help you with any account health related issues.

    Why do you go as high as 250,000 for sales rank? Always been told to stau under 100,000 Thanks

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  Рік тому +1

      Sales rank doesn't matter at all. I've sold TONS on listings with no sales rank. It comes down to the individual Keepa chart. Sales rank is a snapshot in time at that exact moment, not an actual metric to abide by. One day a sales rank could be at 40,000 and then a few days later at 450,000 due to no sales in the following few days. So, we want to look at the history of that ASIN to really see how it sells over time.
      Also, this was just an example, not what you should put in every time. Play around with the inputs to get different results
