Jani's yearning for a trusted companion in Vithal is expressed so poignantly by Gayatri. Mukti's soulful singing, Chitra's evocative paintings, crisp narrative and lively anchoring all complement one another in making Jani and her poetry come alive!
    Kudos to the team.

Just imagine in the 13th century a single woman was having concept of male friendship and she was vocal about it & expressed it by way of poems gracefully & enjoying herself. Don't you think that she was a feminist & took a liberty, adopted autonomy to lead a life of her choice! Wonderfully janabai's emotions are depicted & sung with all the Bhav (भाव). All the best Lalita and the team...

What a wonderful way of looking at Jani's poems. I too saw it as her fantasy of an equal and understanding relationship and partnership.
