Alcorn is a hybrid of SU and JSU due to its hiring of band directors from those schools. However, its old style manifests itself at certain occasions, but I love and appreciate the love school style that never grows old.

Dr. Murray is from Alcorn. Mr. Harvey (Valley’s new director) has been on staff since 2013 and is Alcorn alum. Dr. Martin is the only one that came from SU.
