Sharing my takeaway notes 📝 Mark 1:35-39 Jesus prays and casts out demon * We are who we are today is because of the values we embrace and choices we made. * The secret life of Jesus is prayer 1. Jesus made time for the One, not just for all. V35 - Jesus had long days during the 3 years of ministry, but He made time for God Father. * Our time with God is not really for Him but for us. * Our time with God is our service to God. It strengthens us, not God. It builds our faith. It makes us know Him more and mature. 2. Jesus lived and talked “us”, not just you. V38 - Jesus did not do things alone, He was with the disciples as He was raising ministers and servants. - He used the weak and problematic people. - Jesus has a team. We cannot do life alone, God put us into a community and sends us to another community. 3. Jesus was focused to mission, not on fame. V39 - Preaching and ministry are just tools for the mission so the people will encounter God. - People’s lives and souls are priceless to God. * The Gospel makes people free, whole and gives purpose. * The mission of Hod is to reach and transform you, so He can reach and transform others through you.
