Ever since I was 15, and the Doctor returned to our screens, I have done my best to model myself after the Time Lord. Who else considers the Doctor a role model? Sure he might be a little crazy, but his hearts are always in the right place; even if it means others hate him, the Doctor will do what it takes to set things right and protect others.
I love the bit from 'A Good Man Goes to War' when he goes off on 'Colonel Runaway' then says "Good men don't need rules, and today is not the day to find out why I HAVE SO MANY!" ua-cam.com/video/HUZ50cAk_Lk/v-deo.html
That was the first time the Doctor had been pushed so far. Coming after his loved ones was the worst mistake anyone can make. In A Town Called Mercy, the Doctor finally acknowledges showing mercy to unrepentant psychos costs more lives. Even if he abandons his name like War Doctor did, that promise to never be cruel or cowardly, never giving up or in is still what he lives by.
I wish there were more role models like our good Doctor. I am a Christian, and try to live like Christ showed us. The Doctor is another good (but imperfect) example of how to live.
this might be a lil cheesy... although i see the doctor as my role model.. sometimes the role model isn't enough.. u have to be better than them sometimes.. help them get it right.. cuz nobody is truly perfect.. not even a lonely god
That video is brilliant! in Hell bent the Doctor broke him promise again but he known that and known he did it wrong,The point is:no one isn't perfect.
I like to think that Clara had an impact on the War Doctor and 10's lives. Not because they saved Gallifreg thought. Im not really sure how to out it into aords but thats just how i feel.
Chris Hee meh i still hated hellbend all losing his memory means he did not learn from all his crimes in that ep and get away with free as hell he won Clara still alive and no time limited on how long she Dick around for before returning to her death
+ryan bell just because you disagree with his opinion, doesn't make it wrong, just makes it a different opinion to yours, everyone is entitled to a different opinion, it's not a case of one being wrong and the other right, it just means your opinions are different, it's called being human

My role model is my dad not in a I want to be him or like him but on how human he is. How flawed but how simple he can be

R.I.P. John Vincent Hurt.
RIP John Hurt
That sound the tardis makes that brilliant wonderful sound ....it means there's still hope...and the Doctor is on his way
Kind of messes with you when you learn that noise is the equivalent of driving with the handbrake on 😅
Incredible! Wonderful use of available footage!
The moment is legitimately one of the best characters in this show
The *Warrior* the *Hero* and a *Doctor*
Amazing edit! Well done!
I cried so much watching this 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😰😰😰😰😰😰😱😱😱🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
10 The man who couldn't forget.
11 The man who made himself forget.
12 The man who promised he never would again.
"Let the groundwork of this new society be 'A MAN WHO NEVER WOULD'!"

Isn't? You mean is perfect?
The doctor is quintessentialy, British.

All of this happened yet the emperor and cult of skaro survived
Cult of Skaro left before Arcadia fell I assumed. The Emperor was blasted in time!
Emperor Kaan emperor fell through time and cult of skaro ran as 'they must survive'
Fantastic. Brilliant video!!!!!!!!
I know it's been two years, but do you remember what the conversation you were having was about? I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested.
and yet hell bend made the doctor both cruel or cowardly
And if ever you are, always make amends. He more than paid for it by losing his memory.
Chris Hee meh i still hated hellbend
