Welcome back Mariana, you were missed but I’m sure everyone understands your circumstances. This was a great round up of styles! I have watched many fall trends videos and they all centered around specific colors or items like the long denim skirt, the Mary Jane shoe, red (again), green (again), leopard (again), wide leg denim, denim blazers- please, enough of the denim! There has been NOTHING as comprehensive as your take on the broader styles, which make so much more sense to keep in mind when trying to decide what to add to an already complete wardrobe. The overall palette rather than a single color, the different necklines (rather than a single one to focus on), the large wraps-- this is all VERY helpful. You have a lot to contribute and I appreciate your more global way of looking at fashion and abstracting the ideas and principles to note and follow instead of buy this or that specifically.
I really enjoyed this video and many others that you have created lately. What about if you did a budget spend. As in you only have x amount and you need to start a wardrobe from scratch. What would that wardrobe look like today? Idea 2: You have a very curated wardrobe but you feel like you need a few pieces to refresh and make you feel current but classic. What would those pieces look like. OR... you could do a high/lo shop up and give examples of what pieces you think are worth the splurge and which pieces you can get by with saving on. Best Wishes xo
So glad to see you Mariana! Please know that you and your precious family are in my prayers!!! You are such a beautiful source of traditional, elegant inspiration 💖 you are beautiful inside and out, please take care! May the Lord bless you and keep you always
Great video! Video requests: I would like to see a style analysis of some interesting people :) I love vintage style, hair style videos or some motivational content
I really enjoy your channel. Rest is important for you. I have seen burgundy everywhere. However, I’m also living in Southern California and we’re currently experiencing an “excessive heat watch “. We don’t typically get an autumn season. We experience heat and maybe rain. I actually look forward to those strange “winters “ when the weather turns cold.
I know what you mean. When I lived in Brazil, we really wanted to adopt the fall/winter trends we saw coming out of Europe, but it was always soooo hot! So any windy or rainy day - even if not exactly cold - became an excuse to bundle up 😂
Welcome back! I love the 'autumn in New York' colour palette and the cinched in waist trend. Some suggestions for videos I would like to see: must have accessories for a chic autumn wardrobe, anything on jewellery, another video about a fashion icon (no real preference who), how to entertain in style (including favourite mocktails for those of us who don't drink/drink very rarely), baking/cooking, easy chic hair styles/favourite hair accessories, scarf collection, jewellery collection, shoe collection, any collection video really (they are always fun and inspirational), analyse the style of other classic dressers out there, online shopping - what you would buy if you were not pregnant, analyse some looks you have worn in past autumns and what you would still do/do differently and why...
Welcome back Mariana ❤I’m glad you enjoyed your well deserved time off. It is wonderful to see you back! I love many of this fall’s colours especially burgundy. My style has evolved over the years and I have come to enjoy classic colours with a combination of accessories for impact. As I have gotten older, I have felt comfortable with adding a few trend items as a nod to fashion but I maintain my style.
Mariana wonderful to see you! I am a big fan from Florida! Since I have been following you I have been so much more happy with my purchases, they just seem to work with everything and I don’t get tired of them.
I'm so happy to hear that! I don't just want to show you a bunch of random products that won't get worn, so I'm glad the new purchases have served you well ☺️
Glad you had some great "me" time, you look lovely. Thank you for featuring Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy, I love her coats, I believe they were Prada made especially for her. What a great lady and a great loss.
This year’s autumn colors are great. They’re basics, that’s why they work so well. Colors like those yellows, oranges and bright pinks they pushed in the past few years aren’t neutrals or basics, they’re a lot harder to style.
Welcome back, we missed you! Love the trends and finally some that suit my body-type :) Also I would have a video topic: I find myself more and more drawn to stoping colouring my hair and going naturally grey. I am 37 but I still look like in my 20s and I think it will age me maybe but then again, what would be wrong looking my age. I just find grey hair so chick if you can carry it.
Forgiven! :-) Just glad you were missing for a good, happy reason. How about another Q&A? Here's mine: What language do you and hubby speak at home and will that be baby's first language?
Am I the only one to hate burgundy? The colour of liver, blood, yuk! I prefer taupe, brown, mole, grey, and of course blue, navy, denim. This year I'm wearing khaki for the first time in my life, I bought a lovely Mango khaki velvet trouser suit last year which I had altered and can't wait to wear with my grey merino jumper or my ivory pussybow blouse. I also invested in 2 suede jackets, I'm only sad that the mid-season is so short in London, sometimes non-existent as we go straight from summer to cold winter usually, so you don't get the chance to wear autumn clothes, especially jackets and blazers.
The long blazers and vests are beautiful but… it shortens people. Models are very tall… The mere mortals like 99% of us won’t pull this off. Don’t even try. Plus: fabric. Our budgets cannot afford the high quality fabric of the blazers that suit people, which is extremely light weight wool. These blazers are so expensive if you can find them… Save your money for something else.
Glad to see you back.
Glad to be back ☺️
Pregnancy got you glowing more and more! Great video, greetings from Greece ❤
Thank you! ☺️

Which I think is the perfect strategy for timeless style, Cristina! Very smart 😉

Brown or navy can work with all of them

Welcome back. My least favorite season, Summer!!! Glad is gone!!! Greetings from U.S.A
Mine too! It’s basically 3 months of me counting the days until I can actually feel a breeze on my face again 😂
Am I the only one who hate leopard print?😂
It's not for everyone and that's absolutely ok!
